Excellent release Frits. Thanks!

I’m going to improve the curve editing in one of the coming releases. Maybe I’ll put in an option in the profile properties to get rid of the color fill.
Yes please Frits 🙂
Why is it necessary to fill the automation curve with colour at all? Surely a
just a simple line/curve would suffice.

So you are predominantly starting on a new project every time you start up Podium? 😮
hehe, well no, not always, but I often have moments of inspiration while away from the computer and I like to get things down as soon as possible.
Prior to getting into Podium I used Reason as my main app for getting ideas down quickly, (needless to say I don’t use it so much these days ) and the ‘default startup file’ option is something I got used to with Reason.
I could put in some code in the Podium startup, that will look for a ‘Default.pod’ file, and if found will load that rather than the last used project. No need for a tick box in the preferences then. After loading the Default.pod at startup, I think it would be best to make Podium ‘forget’ the filename, so that you are always prompted for a file name when saving the modified default project the first time. Does that sound like an acceptable solution?
This sounds like a neat way of implementing this, especially if it could be combined with Duncans ‘Most Recently Used’ list suggestion.

Maybe I just need to emphasize the grid lines that separate the notes.
That would be helpful. Currently the lines on the grid are bit faint.
On the subject of colours; In Propellerheads Reason, different colours are assigned automatically to parts in the arrange section of the sequencer. In other words, two indentical parts have the same colour making it easy to distinguish all the different parts on each track. Something along these lines would be nice 8)
That’s great.
Thanks Frits 🙂
Excellent 😀
Thanks Frits.
Thanks Frits.
There seem to be plenty of keyboard shortcuts that I’m not aware of. A complete list of all the available shortcuts would be most appreciated 🙂

AWESOME! Thanks Frits.
I second that 🙂
Thanks for the links. I have the Evolver script already but the FS1R one is new to me.
As I said before, it’s not that important really. If you can do it easily then great, but if not, it’s no big deal.
I have a Dave Smith Instruments ‘Evolver’ which I have a Cubase script for and have just aquired a Yamaha ‘FS1R’ 8). I don’t own either Cubase or Cakewalk though. TBH, it’s not a feature I’m desperate to see, I just thought it could be useful and wondered if it had been implemented.
I presume the alternative is to create my own hardware specific device-definition files, though how I do this and where I start I’m not too sure yet 😕
Hopefully we’ll see Donald around here again soon. He’s obviously a seasoned ‘old’ pro and it’s always interesting to read his contributions.

I will try to implement Cubase script import for 0.92.
Has this been added yet? Either I’m dumb and can’t find it 😕 or it isn’t there yet.

A list of all the available keyboard short-cuts would be helpful.

If every Podium vertical scrollbar supported the middle mouse-wheel, that would be a good improvement
Agreed.

OK, I tried it out and it works just fine 🙂
Thanks for the help Frits
