Indeed it sounds like a great deal. Alas, the gas funds have finally dried up and I have to take a break from these great deals 😥
(for a little while at least)
too bad 🙁 , if it helps they are going to be selling it for a few weeks after the sale I think at the same price to you can at least read some feedback from users, if its tempting enough maybe there is something you can sell to fund it
12 hours left for this groupbuy
harmless rules I love the sound of it , organic crystaline beauty 8)
..whats the point really, not alot of linux vsts out there, and not much payback for the time and effort put in, there seem to be some really nice free programs out there for linux already . Looking at energyxt2 I’m not sure how well the port went in terms of customer satisfaction and new adopters, takes a lot of work and research to develop for linux. A much smarter move would be to develop for mac since mac users have a bit of cash to spend to begin with but there again how big is the payoff isn’t windows still the 10-1 favorite?
very cool 8) thanks Fritz!
no opinions on this? everyones satisfied the the current controls?
great idea
great update! loving the drag midi from track inspector !

hello!
I was doing a *long* techno oldskool song, about 7 minutes track. I don’t know if this is possible or not.
I’d like drag and drop a clip into the sequencer as you can see in this picture:
Why?
Because if I want do a phantom copy, by example, of a clip that is very far in the song it’s difficult. And that list could keep the used and unused clips on that track even, then if you delete all the instances of a clip from the sequencer you could recover it from that list (or delete it definitively).
It’s the logical step for a Podium newbie as me, maybe there is a way for do it that I unknow, if this is the case, please forgive me.
Best regards,
Juan 🙂
hey Juan yeah your example would be practical and cool i tried the same thing, I found a workaround though using a list window. in your project you will have a device folder and under that your arrangement ,from there you can see a list of clips associated with each track and you can drag and drop those without copy and past. very cool 8)
yes i get the same behavior with presets.
it is labeled as 1.0 by the host but on the gui next to Voyager i see v1.1 , looks absolutely no fun to program to me, lots of good presets though. have you tried oatmeal, zebracm , xhip those are others i like 8)
thanks Frits 🙂
hey here is a quote from the video vst site
“Current News
25-03-2008: Unfortunately the version that is here is unstable, due to a flaw in the way the underlying SMPEG library handles playback, and cannot be fixed. I may make this project open-source at some point – if I get the time and interest. Sorry for any confusion. M@”

not sure if it works with any host at the moment but try the demo of podium anyways you might like it.

Ah now I see what I’m missing – ctrl L brings up the same as the “List” button but as a 2 pane view – what I see when I click “list” button is just what is on the right (ie the folder tree) but the left pane is there but you need to drag out the centre divider to access it – why it’s hidden away like that by default I don’t know.
ah ha! ok thats good to know much easier than what i was doing
hey amused, if you are in arrangement view press control+L , or you can find it under the setup tab , its pretty cool function ,you can drag and drop sequences as well. the difference with this list is you can browse the contents of you project.
If what you need is in another project ,when you are in the project page 1st press control+L to bring up your list, then import the whole project into your new one so everything is accessable from the list control+I, then just erase what you don’t need like the device folder or sequences you don’t need.
