mr_es335ParticipantFrits,
Thank you for your prompt reply!
After a bit of head scratching, I was able to get it to work.
As you can see I am still getting my head around the way in which Podium works! When you do though, it does seem to be more intuitive.
Thank you again, Frits!! Very much appreicated!
mr_es335ParticipantHello,
Thank you Zynewave, that did it!!!!
mr_es335ParticipantHello,
My situation is the same as pj geerlings, but I would only require Podium on one computer – which would only used offline – dedicated DAW.

mr_es335ParticipantHello,
Thank you for your response.
That did help a bit, but I still have to do the following:
1. Launch Podium
2. Screen Left: main Podium screen – New Project
* Double click new arrangement on the New Project screen to get to New arrangement screen
3. Screen right: Go to View, select Mixer Only. This is a total of 2 steps to get to my “default setup”. Your suggestions has eliminated one step. Any fuither thing I can do?
Thank you again.

mr_es335ParticipantHello,
First, thank you to those that have posted information on setting Positum with dual monitors – and absolute must today!
However, each time I load Podium, both screens default to the New Project screen.
This is the process:
1. Launch Podium
2. Screen Left: main Podium screen – New Project
* Double click new arrangement on the New Project screen to get to New arrangement screen
3. Screen right: Double click new arrangement to get to New arrangement screen
* Go to View, select Mixer Only (my edited version). This is a total of 3 steps to get to what I would refer to as my “default setup”. Am I missing something or is there a better way to do this?
Thank you!

mr_es335ParticipantHello,
This is a somewhat “typical” situation – with so many potential variables – that anything is possible. In situations such as this – a dedicated sytem is the only way to go. However, that just may not be financially viable for some.
The other option is “disk imaging”. I use this on all my systems and the benefits far outweigh the initial cost of the software.
As to the original complaint – anyone who is having any sort of application problems should use “Selective Start-up” and turn off anything that can be turned off. Most problems such as these are usually anitvirus/antispyware app situations. Disabling them is very often the fix for such problems.
Hope this helps!
