If you actually would prefer PDF (you mentioned Acrobat) you could always use openoffice. At work, I’ve uninstalled Word, Excel and all other parts of Office except for Outlook, I actually prefer OpenOffice 🙂
From the “Future Development” thread
“Group events on tracks that are collapsed, to allow rearranging all events in the group just by dragging a single ‘meta’ event.”
That would atleast do it for me, and it is already on the plan 🙂
Just imagine being able to use Podiums bounce track feature in non-realtime 🙂 “bounce now”!
Since updating of guis actually has quite an impact on cpu load, could there be some kind of advanced config to set these things up? You set the default, advanced users can tweak it on their own.
Is it a good idea? On slow computers a 50hz gui updater might be really unconvinient but on a fast computer a gui update synced to monitor refresh rate might be swell. Or something.
Nothing necessary, might just be useful for a few I guess!
cheers!

😀 Ok for the punch in/out it works fine and not so complicated , but one time i stopped the rec with the space bar (its so easy)before the punch out and then….the rec button was still on.Ok it will not happen so often. So , may be optional could be fine…it is not urgent!i can work already like that and i accept the other’s arguments… 😀 😀 😀
Well, most of the time, that is what you want it to do (stay enabled), because usually when you stop the recording before punch out you made a mistake while recording (sneezed while singing or whatever) and need to restart recording 🙂
If so, it would have to be choosable. I’d hate to re-enable it each time I record a part etc 🙂
if you mean midi keyboard that would work when podium gets a generic remote control support.
Ok. cool 🙂
Although, I don’t think the plugins should need to support midi automation to be remote controlled. They expose all their vst parameters to the host, so it should be enough that the host supports remote controllers, right? I’m not sure how it’s handled within cubase, but I know it’s very flexible atleast 🙂
And what about parameter automation? 🙂
