thanks frits, I will try this from now on with my mixes

Edit: Off topic, I just need to mention that since I got Podium I have been so amazingly productive and energised, a way I haven’t felt for more than a year using other sequencers. Cheers for giving me the spark back, it’s great to feel so motivated again. Podium is just a work of genius, I have never been this happy with a sequencer before. Thanks 8)

Not sure what you mean by masking?

Let’s say I mix a track so it has a poor unbalanced stereo field, too centre heavy – by then using -6db panning law won’t this hide the fact that the track is too centre heavy?

as you say, i spose it comes down to what sounds good to you

Until then you can do it using the keyboard shortcuts Ctrl+Plus and Ctrl+Minus. They use the current quantize value in the editor as step value.

    Hi Frits

I uninstalled Podium 1.16 and put 1.15 back on – still crashing with Imposcar. Then I reinstalled Imposcar and it’s still crashing! Yep, it’s not a issue with the latest version of Podium after all.. it crashes energyXT as well. Sorry to bother ya

Any particular plugins you are dying to use?

A vote for Sonicbytes ERA here (a midi VST plugin (also comes as MFX))

thanks Frits! I’ll just click “Host Sync” for now until you get round to finding a fix.

floating point waves and 64bit FP mixing? as mr burns would say “excellent!”

    Frits

I’ve been using the demo for half a day, and already I’ve worked out that this is the sequencer for me. It’s just so logical and straight forward, for the first time in a while I feel like I can get in there and make some tunes without the program getting in the way of creativity. My hat off to you sir 😉

    I’ve purchased a licence already 🙂
