Sure you can. Just select the track you have set up, and use the “save track as template” command. Leave the “copy track timeline events…” option off. Then use the “new track” submenu in the track templates menu when you want to create a new track based on the template.

Yes, it’s been 3 full days since I added them. Please pay attention [-X
😉
Oh, and congrats on your new avatar =D>
Alt+clicking a ghost note is a shortcut for switching the editor to the sequence where the ghost note belongs. If you don’t press the alt key, then you should be able to add new notes whether you click on empty space or click on ghost notes.

I like the new ctrl key behaviour, but the alt key still behaves in the old way. Is there a reason why this behaviour is not possible for the alt key?
If you refer to the ctrl key change mentioned in the VIP topic then it is not included in this release. It will appear in 2.15.

At the risk of scope creep, any chance of multiple lanes per parameter to facilitate “takes” for automation?
:-k Hmm. Fair enough to get all automation ideas on the table while I’m already revising the system.
I guess I could add the “use as composite track” option for parameter tracks as well. That should make it possible to manually compose a parameter track using take lanes, just like the current composite track feature. To make it automatically create new takes on recording requires a bit more work.
Can you describe a situation where you would use multi-take parameter tracks?
Out of curiosity: Are there any other hosts which support a multi-take feature for automation?
I’m currently doing some experimentation with a new automation system. Unless I encounter difficulties, there is a good chance that it will be ready for the next release. It’s a big job though, but I think I finally have figured out the best way to do it.
The master track should be created automatically if any of the instruments mapped to the midi tracks use audio. So if your instruments are VSTi plugins then the master should be created.
There isn’t an easy way to add a master track to an arrangement that has been created as a no-audio arrangement. Make sure that your project has a complete device setup, before you import the midi file.

Small visual bug, when sequences are short and you have them in a far zoom:
Look at those small rectangles in the top of each phantom sequence
Fixed. Thanks.

- Fix: Minimizing/restoring the Podium application could reopen windows that were previously closed. This happened only on XP and was caused by a change in 2.13.
Curious! I experienced this with 2.13 and at least with 2.14 beta 3 too. I am, however, using Vista!
Ok, I removed the XP/Vista bit from the release note. It didn’t happen on my Vista machine, so I assumed it was ok on Vista.

You know, I must confess…. I did not keep track of the exact steps. But, things were not consistant at all. Sometimes it worked. Sometimes it did not. Same VST fxs. Now, things are good and panning is working fine.
I don’t quite understand the concept of having the child program change track’s option to display output panning and gain vs. the top level parent track’s option to display output panning and gain?
How is one different than the other?
I’m not sure I understand what you mean with having pan on a “child program change track”. It doesn’t sound right to me. Can you email your project file or perhaps post a screenshot?
The panning can become inefective depending on whether you use mono or stereo effects in the chain. It’s easiest for me to check if you can email me your project file (no need for audio files).
