ZynewaveKeymasterMake sure you don’t have a preset assigned to the track (or any other track using the same mapping). This will conflict if you also have program change messages on the track.

ZynewaveKeymasterBundling plugins with the Podium installer would make the download much bigger. Considering the frequent updates of Podium I’d like to keep the download as small as possible, and I’d rather avoid the extra work with maintaining more than one installer. In the case of freeware, I think it is much easier to keep a list of links to the freeware developer websites. This way I won’t be held responsible for plugin support and I won’t have to keep track of plugin updates. Some hosts come with special versions of commercial plugins, but this is mostly for hosts that ship on a CD in a box.
As soon as I get through the major missing features in Podium, I plan to spend more time on developing new plugins for the zPlugin series. So far we have zPEQ, zReverb and zPitch.
ZynewaveKeymasterfor some reason podium won’t let me place the parameter object under the VAZ device definition. when i try, the circle/cross icon appears
Click the menu button at the top right of the list and select “enable drag-reordering”. Alternatively you can use cut/copy commands to move the object without dragging.
ZynewaveKeymasterWhen i drag and drop the midi parameter from the list window onto the track lane
You need to place the parameter object under the VAZ device definition (in the same folder as the pitch bend etc. params are located). When you have done this the parameter should appear in the track inspector parameter panel. Double clicking the parameter here will set up an automation track. Also note that you should select the “record as curve sequence…” option in the parameter properties dialog.
ZynewaveKeymasterbut I think the ‘new midi parameter’ button may have been added since the CM 1.77 version was released
Correct. With 1.77 you need to manually create the extra MIDI parameter objects you need, using the shortcut menus in the list window.

ZynewaveKeymasterIs there an alternative method for remote midi control usable at the moment ?
No. The plugin has to support MIDI automation. As Podianer said, I will eventually add a MIDI learn feature to Podium.
ZynewaveKeymasterIf you open the parameter properties dialog for the MIDI parameter, you can define the min/max value range.
ZynewaveKeymasteri think i just need to see a screenshot of someone’s bus send and return setup
Try loading the “Examples – busses” project. It shows a few simple bus setups. Also if you are using the latest demo version, the bus send/return tracks can now be automatically created with the options in the “new arrangement” dialog.

ZynewaveKeymasterOk, mine is reading 3250
That is very high. That’s close to 74 milliseconds at 44100 kHz. If you have more than one ASIO driver available in the “ASIO interface” combobox, try selecting the others. If not, then give asio4all a try.
