Hmm, I don’t know. I have the “enable signatures” option selected in the database configuration, but I could not get a signature to show either.
I’m not sure if you mean replace the plugin mappings imported in the project, or replace a plugin assigned to a track. To replace a plugin assigned to a track, just select the track and double click the new plugin in the map panel.
In the manual there are multiple references to panels & presets
“Panels” should refer to the input/map/preset etc. panels in the track inspector.
You could try loading the “Freebees” example project. The “Song B” uses a drum map track for the Drumatic plugin. That will at least let you test the drum map editor.
I don’t have a drum map tutorial in the works, but have you checked out the drum map editor page in the guide?

Hi ganym3d,
Thanks for the feedback. You’re the first Podium Beat user that has registered on the forum. 🙂
I can’t pay via PayPal or so… Can I pay with an international money order or so???
You can pay via Share-it. On the order form you can select between a range of different payment options. International money order should be one of them.

is it possible to map incoming Midi CC messages to VST/VSTi parameters? or is that going to be added with the integrated Mackie support?
That feature is also on the todo list. It will most likely be implemented before the full MIDI remote support.
Hi Michael,
Integrated support for MIDI fader controllers such as the Mackie device is not implemented yet. This is something I’m going to work on in Q1/Q2 2007.

The people who bought the Beat won’t be able to fix the midi bug?
I’m sending an updated version to Beat Mag tomorrow, which will be included in the 2|2007 issue.
1.74 is released, with support for event muting.
I fixed it today, and I’m about to test it tonight. If it works ok, I’ll release it later tonight.
One host I have looked at recently has a “sync point” line on clips. It defaults to the start of the clip and can be dragged similar to the fade-in/out handles. When dragging the event, the sync point is used to snap to bar/beat lines. Is this what you’re looking for?
do you think midi automation for VST/i is somewhat nearer?
Yes. And also integrated support for MIDI remote controllers.
