I think I will put an ‘enable note transpose’ check-box option in the track properties along with a numeric input. On tracks where this is enabled will then appear a text and dial for the transpose value, similar to the gain and pan dials. I don’t plan to show the note transpose in the mixer strips though. How far should the transpose range be allowed, -127..127, -48..48?
Thanks Brian, I’ll go on a bug-hunt.
The ‘transpose notes on input’ only works on notes received on a MIDI input interface. If you have a recorded note sequence, then the only way currently is to transpose the notes with the keyboard editor. Recently there was a forum discussion about adding a transpose setting to the track properties. I’ll try to implement that for the next release.
Hi Kaos,
Being able to put multiple plugins on a single track is on the plan. I’m considering various solutions to the problem, ranging from allowing multiple mappings to be assigned to a single track, to implementing a wrapper mapping that can combine a series of plugins.

i dont see the toption to make a master stereo bus in it in the wizard
When you open the ‘Audio Mappings’ panel in the project wizard, what does it say? If you have enabled your audio interface, there should be a button for ‘create audio output mappings’. When you click this, two new buttons will appear to ‘create audio input mappings’ and ‘create new mixer bus mappings’.
And what about using the control key (or using the right button) for controling the vertical zoom / amplitude zoom ?
I think there would still need to be the two sliders to illustrate the two different zoom levels.
Hi stash98,
I am at the part where it says in the wizard that you will see a setup to get master stereo mapping going..well I am using the demo and I don’t see it..Is this because I have the demo?
It should not be a demo limitation, but I am not sure I understand you correctly. Are you talking about the ‘audio mappings’ panel in the project wizard or are you missing the audio output mappings in the arrangement editor?
How would I setup jamstix for MIDI out only to control BFD, and then send each BFD all track to it’s own individual track so i can mix each drum?
Sorry, I have to disappoint you here. Podium does not currently support streaming of MIDI output from a plugin into another plugin. It’s fast becoming one of the most requested features, but I cannot promise when it will be implemented.

change the height of a channel when the cursor is on the bar that separate the channels
I’ll put that on the list.
Concerning the vertical zoom button, it will be more logical (in my opinion) if its behaviour will be the same as for the other windows : zoom of the channels instead of zoom of the amplitude
That was my initial intention, but the problem is that to allow both an amplitude zoom and a channel height zoom similar to the tracks in the arrangement editor, then there would have to be two vertical sliders. I could not find a good way to implement this, so I decided on the restriction that all channels are always visible in the sound editor. That way I could get rid of the channel zoom slider. I then implemented the ‘relative’ zoom of each channel to allow that a single channel could be zoomed out for detail editing.
When the XY Tool is on the channel header it become a simple arrow with no other function than toggle the channel.
You’re right, you have to use the Zoom Y tool (hold shift+ctrl). I’ll fix it so that the XY tool also can be used for this.
So I guess the proper workflow would be to setup a default comp with all your VST’s and whatnot already done and save as with a new name for new project? Is it the best thing to do?
Yes. At least save the project when you have completed the studio setup. When you start a new project, load this ‘template’ project and save it under a new name.
Hi bullshark,
I see midi export on the to do list, any idea on the timeframe for this feature?
There is no timeframe set for this feature yet. It depends on what you require of a midi export. To allow saving a single note sequence to a midi file would be fairly easy to implement. Saving an entire arrangement with multiple tracks and automation data etc. will take a lot longer to code.
but when I reopened Podium the next day all those settings were gone?!? Why? Is it a limitation of the demo?
It is not a demo limitation. Your studio setup is saved in the project file. If you exited Podium without saving the project, your setup is lost. Only your MIDI/Audio interface selections are stored in the Podium setup file, which is automatically saved when you exit Podium.
can’t find how to setup audio input as stereo pair, I only can get singles. Where could I find info about this?
Are you using the Project Wizard for this? The ‘create audio input mappings’ command in the audio mappings panel should create both mono and stereo mappings for the audio channels you have enabled in the MIDI/Audio interfaces dialog.

option to hide/show some type of objects
Please describe why/when you would want to hide certain object types?
possibility to freely arrange the objects in the space of the window, instead of having them organized in column
This is already possible if you deselect the ‘auto arrange’ option in the browser edit menu. Are you requesting a new mode which will allow free arrangement, but still snap to a fixed grid?
