To you as well
Now, GET BACK TO WORK!! 😈
Ha! Just look at it as prime overtime time, it’s easier to numb yourself that way.
I’ll never own a mobile device…my $15 a month Net10 phone will do for what little I have to say or text to someone. I like my desktop for the increased power it has over any said devices. But I think that it’s a great idea to have a sketch pad on the road, with files that are compatible with Podium. And you’d be the first on the block to do so, unless someone’s already done this w/o my knowledge. It would no doubt get you some new customers for Podium as well. No VST support is alright, if you get these 3rd party plugs….would it be possible, you think, to integrate the sampler/synth/effects into regular Podium? Especially the sampler, but that’s a dusty old feature request of mine, not of great concern to me, Short Circuit’s always good(except for that main screen CPU spike).
But hey, it sounds like it won’t interfere much with regular Podium’s development, so more power to those 16 year olds! As long as they stay out of my way at work when I’m toting some 50 pound bags of flour around…
Bad thing is, there will be huge leaps in computing power on these devices, but the screen will always be a few inches. Godspeed—
That’s OK. I should learn about macros sometime, but I’m too lazy and am usually on someone else’s computer when online.
Amen especially to the Helix…it’s worth finding on his page, most definitely. If I ever get the moolah together, that’ll be the first money synth I’ll get, with all due respect to the others…
Though I use the key shortcut, I would love to try this macro of yours, Liquid Project(the three key doesn’t work on my friend’s damn keyboard!) Thanks-
I’m plum glad you’re on the case, Frits. I had the feeling that there was some kind of restructuring/code fixing going on…I’m happy with Podium in many ways already, so whatever is done can only be better. I’m at the point that other hosts don’t feel right anymore, and maybe it’s because I’ve taken the time to learn Podium, but I think it’s designed better in certain ways. So rock that s— homey! Yeah, I’m old and I love Public Enemy. Good day-
And to you too! I live in America, and though times are rough for people here, it’s not as bad as other places, and for that I feel…thankful, so enjoy today like all days and try not to think about Black Friday(I work in the service industry). Good day-
I’m not sure what to say. Paging Dr. Nielsen…
I tried both 1.0 and 1.1b, and each ran fine.
Thank you for the words, Frits, and I’ll stick to “save preset”/”save bank”. Good day everybody!
Thanks Trancit – yep that’s what I meant. So should I use the Create Library Presets For All Programs command if I don’t want to alter the original presets? The problem is, sometimes the library preset and the original preset will stay linked together, so if you change one you change the other. Is there a better way to create a new preset off an old one?
Any takers? Anybody, purty please?
To make it more complicated – what I mentioned above about the presets recording VST automation changes, only happens with certain VSTs. Like Iblit will record changes to the preset, but Abakos won’t. Weirder and weirder. SOS!!!
I need to clarify: I know how to create new library presets with ctrl-p, but it gets weird. Say I’m cloning the preset “Bass drone” for a new preset. what happens is that a new preset also called bass drone is created, but it is placed outside of the original preset folder. I decide to rename the new file “asdf”, in honor of the keyboard. I then tweak some parameters of asdf. NOW when I open the original folder back up, I find that “bass drone” has been changed to asdf, and there is now two asdf files. So- 1.When the new preset is created, why is it placed outside the folder(if there is a folder). 2. Why is the original preset linked to the new preset? Thanks for bearing with me—
ps I still would like to know how to keep presets from recording any tweaks, too! Thanks-
Sorry, didn’t see that Frits had posted there!
