Here’s a little something if you want to eliminate/greatly reduce aliasing, and it’s free to boot:

I know Frits has a master plan, so being one man, he can only do so much at a time, etc. Whatever requests were made in the competition, I’m sure he has taken to heart, but I’d wager he already had some plans mapped out …once those plans are finished, I’m sure he’ll get around to addressing other issues. So do what you gotta do, Frits, I’m behind you 110 percent!

Funny thing about Twin Peaks and the owls: some new movie’s coming out about some owls, and the other day I considered spray painting “the owls are not what they seem” on the local marquee, but I’m in my 30’s so dammit I have to suppress those still youthful urges! I still get creeped out, thinking about the scene in Fire Walk With Me where Leland is taking the girls through the woods with only a flashlight as the light source…Lynch can do a lot with so little!
And oh yeah, thcilnnahoj, you’d love the Prisoner. It’s in the pantheon of the best of the best. Take it from this film school dropout!

Oops, I found out that I was doing something wrong in regards to the piano roll-drum question above. Nix that, but the other two points still stand-

Good deal, thanks! So, I should avoid Tascam, huh? Sounds like what M-Audio had going on a while back, but I understand they’ve caught up. I was just looking at the Emu 0404 yesterday, looks good…as well as the Presonus. The Sapphire looks iffy, as some have had positive experiences, but others have had ASIO issues, and as I use ASIO4All, maybe I should stay away from that one. Now, this is just based on what I read in Gearslutz, but they seemed pretty knowledgeable.
So, thanks for the help guys! I’ll take more suggestions if you guys have any. Good day-

Nope, no requirements, just that it’s 24-bit and runs smooth with Podium. If it matters, I plan to get M-Audio Axiom or Oxygen to play.

Thanks, Thcilnnahoj. I’ll check the files in the newer Podium, see what sticks.

Thanks for the link – I noticed that it is in euros. Should I use a currency converter elsewhere and post the dollar equivalent(in euros)?

    Frits-
I tried to send a donation, but got an error in Paypal regarding the address:
Email Address: Please enter a valid address in the format name@domain.com.
Just so you know, I had to use my older address, heylo_99, so as to avoid any confusion. Thanks-

To be honest, I don’t have any complete songs, just fragments and sketches so far. I looked around and found what living links I could, all of which require Nucleum:

    http://www.box.net/shared/851nkxgngr
    http://www.box.net/shared/7a300xaaoi
    http://www.zynewave.com/files/Nucleum096.zip
Would that be alright? Guess it depends on what the original creators want, though the files are already public. And would you want renewed focus on Nucleum?
Time to get in gear on a real song! Be seeing you-

Great idea. What about a ‘File’ menu entry similar to ‘Save Project As…’? eg. ‘Upload Project to Zynewave.com’ (abbreviated to something appropriate).

    Amen brother!
