Try editing your quarantine list:
Open the Setup menu in Podium.
Select “Explore Setup folder”.
Open the file named PluginQuarantine.txt with a text editor.
Delete epicVERB’s entry.
Cross fingers.
Import the plugin.
Did all of that three times + prayed (even though I’m not religious).
Hi!
epicVerb won’t load. It ended up in quarantine 3 times. Has anyone had problems with it?
Tnx and cheers
Thanks for your answer!
Even number 3 makes sense, somehow π
I’ll just give it a shot and see what will happen.

Great bundle!
Thanks for sharing alex
You’re welcome π
Honestly, I wasn’t even looking for plugins. It was just pure luck – the bundle found me π So, I linked it here immediately.
@ druid and kim_otcj
Thank you guys!
That’s exactly what I needed to know.
Apparently, I have only one piece of software that may have problems with 64 bit OS, but there is a way to fix that and it works all the time. It’s also clear that the plugins will work properly in the 32 bit environment. But then, (don’t get me wrong – I’m not really crazy about having huge amounts of RAM) I have to ask one more question. What exactly are advantages of using 64 bit OS to run 32 bit software? Just to make it perfectly clear – that machine will never go online and will be used exclusively for audio software.
Cheers
So, I guess it’s a pretty good idea to start with 4 GB of RAM and then if everything works fine add 4 more (if needed). That way, if I have to roll back to 32 bit OS, I lose nothing.
Tnx and cheers

What’s the problem getting a 64 bit OS?
No problem at all, but it seems there’re many reasons not to use it, and 32 bit plugins are only one of them. Bridging should solve that, but I’m not sure about other things (not sure about bridging either). I know that many people run 32 bit Reaper on 64 bit OS, rather than 64 bit version (because it works better even if they can’t use more than 4 gigs of RAM). I’d like to know what happens with Podium (64 bit). Then, I’ve also heard bad stories about many programs and 64 bit OSs. Actually, maybe I even shouldn’t have asked about this. I think I’m gonna stick with 32 bit until everything’s 64.
Tnx for your answer
It’s really great that you do stuff like that. Iβm sure they will be at least as good as the first one, and I’ve already said what I think of it.
By the way, I’ve noticed something β this thread has turned into a place where people (not all of them) throw information about all free plugins theyβre aware of (some of them even admit they have never tested them). Is this really helpful ? What should a poor newbie do when he/she downloads and installs all that stuff?
For the last couple of days, I’ve been trying to make a really narrowed list of the best freeware vst plugins. And I must admit, sometimes, it was really hard to decide which one to keep from letβs say 5 or 6 great ones. But I did it. I deleted more than a hundred of them in order to keep only the very best ones (it is the matter of personal preference, I know, but only to some point, and one doesn’t need 20 eqs or compressors or whatever really, especially if 7 of them are obviously inferior to the rest of them and the other 8 are pretty much alike (maybe those eight are equally good, but do yourself a favor and choose one of them and get to know it inside out). Because, one can have too many plugins (and that can really be a problem, especially for newbies). So, after I’m done, I’ll probably post about that, because that could help unexperienced users to concentrate on making music instead of downloading hundreds of plugins (which they all will eventually do, but better later (when they already know what they’re after) than sooner :)).
Keep up the good work π
That’s my favorite plugin in this bundle (and they are all great), and now, it’s for sure one of the best freeware compressors, and there’re many commercial ones which are not that good, not even close. π

I had fun making a short video about this plugin in Podium Free:

It’s banal but I hope it can still be useful to someone!
It’s actually very basic (I suppose that’s what you wanted to say) and that’s what makes it really good (if I were a beginner that’s exactly what I’d like to see – everything’s perfectly clear and easy to understand). 8)
@ Me le suono! and Levendis
Tnx guys!
Compressive is great! I was checking out Antress modern compressors one by one :frustrated: :frustrated: :frustrated: (as a matter of fact, they’re not that bad, but they’re not what I read they were, not by a long shot). So, right after that I downloaded Compressive and π π π π π π π π π π Valve button is a killer! π

Hey Levendis, no need to uninstall this great plugin
There was a version of Molot with disabled external sidechain here at the bottom of the page……
CymaticCycle is right. You can find both versions if you click on the link I posted. So, just get yourself the other version π
Cheers!
I don’t have that kind of problem. It works great, and I wouldn’t give it up so easily. As I said, Podium freezes when I make more than one Molot show up on the screen, and that’s rather Podium’s problem. Anyway, plugins like Molot are really heavy on cpu, and I would use it only on master bus (problem solved, unfortunately, only for me).
I’ll check out that one. I’ve seen it before, but I’ve never downloaded it (and there are not lot of them I haven’t checked) but now, when you say…. π
Tnx and cheers
Hi!
For me, the hardest thing to find in the freeware world, aside from a mastering limiter, is a master bus compressor. By the way I choose to post about W1 limiter, because it’s really a great plugin and it saves some serious money. It works great on vocals, drum bus and as a mastering limiter if you like that kind of sound (it’s not really transparent, and there’re some free limiters that are more transparent). My first choice, though (when we’re talking freeware).
So, until now, I’ve found only two compressors that really can do the job on the master bus:
Well known Density mklll:
And, my first choice would be:
http://vladgsound.wordpress.com/plugins/molot/
By the way, I have a little problem with this one in Podium free – it works great, and you can have it on the master bus, group buses, single tracks, as many as you want as long as you don’t make two of them show up on the screen at the same time. Podium freezes right away. So, if anyone else has that problem, please, let me know.
I’m still checking this one – it’s a dual band, and it’s meant for mastering, but I think one can really mix into it:

W1 Limiter is a clone of Waves L1.
There is a GUI-less version:

Version with a GUI:

edited to add:
betabugs GUI version is a piece of crap. It looks nice, but the knobs don’t allow any precise work and that makes this great plugin completely useless.
