The cspl buttons were removed from the default setup a while back.
A quick check back reveals this post from 2008 that confirms it was version 2.07 when they were removed.
It does highlight the somewhat patchy nature of the guide though. Of course the wiki is open to anyone who has the time and inclination to update it.

How can I uninstall podium completely without that there is anything left?
You probably need to delete podium.ini which resides in C:Users…AppDataRoamingZynewavePodium
Edit: that’s on Vista, though may be similar on W7

NOTE also, that I do not use 64-bit VSTs anymore. Thought them too much hassle. Until state of DAW straightens out with all this 32/64 issues going around, I am staying free of all that. Just give me a 32-bit host and 32-bit VSTs that will run on my W7 64-bit, and I am happy as a clam (inset your own choice of happy creature here).
Likewise. I’m in no hurry to to move to 64-bit during this transitional phase and my 4 year old pc is still quite able to handle what’s thrown at it…though the Diva beta from u-he does push it a bit 😆
@The Telenator
Sorry to nitpick, but just for the sake of accuracy I’m almost certain that there is no connection between Meldaproduction and MDA. Also, the classic series fx are by the now defunct Kjaerhus audio and Bootsie is the creator of the Variety of Sound plugins. Anyway, carry on… 😳 I’ve enjoyed your posts so far – some good contributions.

Thanks for the files. Bug is now fixed. The crash happened because there is no tempo event in your arrangement.
ah, I see – thanks Frits

Any additional info would be appreciated, for example:
– does it happen when you select a file while on the project page (without opening an arrangement)
– in the arrangement editor, does it matter if the arrangement is powered on/off
– do you have auto-preview turned on in the browser
– if yes, does it matter what’s the device chain on the track that’s selected when you click the MIDI file
Ok, I’ve narrowed it down a bit. It happens on the arrangement editor with the browser auto-preview enabled and the arrangement powered on. I checked with the midi file you linked to and Podium crashes every time when I click on the midi file in the browser with the aforementioned circumstances. I’m using an empty arrangement so there are no effects/device chains involved.
Thanks for your help,
Martin.
very cool – thanks for sharing 🙂

I’m using Podium Free 4.20 on Windows XP.
wow! are you returning from the future dude? has Podium got midi plug support yet?…..sorry – couldn’t resist. carry on…;)

@kingtubby – it’s not exactly the same because in the meantime i do some changes in arrangement.
ok – good point.

You could use the Undo button or Ctrl+z
I don’t know what the system specs are on the machine michi_mak is running, but on my 4 year old quad-core, the couple of extra percentage points of cpu use to support the super smooth and lovely Podium UI is fine by me. 🙂

running a daw minimized to the tray does not help too much, does it?
I wasn’t suggesting that of course – it was just an observation. Anyway, my little test kinda supports your original complaint.
