wow its a really nice & cheap piece of kit.
It looks like its almost tailored for zynewave podium 😀Will I also be able to assign the knobs of the nanokontrol2 to parameters or ONLY the faders?
And will I be able to use the play, pause, rewind, single, mute & record, etc… buttons? If yes then the korg nanokontrol2 would be perfect for me as a control surface!!
EDIT: I need to buy the full version of Podium to do that, right? Otherwise I would have to wait a looooooong time until the version gets released 4 free
you can only use faders to control parameters ( in fact it’s a nice side effect of the way Podium handles external control surfaces )
play, pause and rewind work as expected…
don’t know about Podium Free tbh
there’s a rather cheap workaround to both anwers : buy yourself a KorgNanoKontrol2 and use it as external control surface – its faders can also control vsti parameters!
here’s your answer : http://www.zynewave.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=2888
how would i go for a “factory reset” – deleting ALL settings i ever did ?
i know the ccleaner – but i want to avoid a clean winstall this time!

This request made it into beta for 3.2 :D/ :D/ :D/ =D> =D> =D> 😀 😀 😀

i could have sworn this worked in other hosts but a quick check didn’t work out 😳
must be a limitation of my CM version 😳

I looked over the velocity region for ways to improve the editing. I already had a few velocity region improvements on my todo list, so it seems the next 3.1.3 release will include some velocity editing improvements.
One of my todo features was a way to draw over velocity bars to adjust their relative value rather than drawing absolute velocity values. This is now done by holding the Alt key down.
Holding the Shift key down will start a marquee selection so that you can select notes based on their velocities.
Holding Ctrl down and dragging up/down will offset all selected velocities. Ctrl was previously used to set default velocity values. This can now be done with a new “Adjust Velocities” dialog. This dialog will also include a randomize option and various other stuff.
please bind a keyboard shortcut to this new Adjust velocity window aswell as to Adjust timing window ( as you once proposed )!!!
over here Frits is talking about 3.1.3 and some new features which were requested by users …
but it’s strange that he does not speak up here ( at least until now )

omg :D/
i never noticed this “user-driven” joke …
i stopped recommending Podium because of a lack of future / perspective and i won’t renew my license unless there are some dramatic changes ( which i violently doubt tbh ).
i always requested some kind of roadmap but Frits refuses such things until now – he even doesn’t reveil upcoming features and topics he’s investigating…
lack of communication is a real showstopper!!!
plus some more midi editing options too!!!
i think the main problem is that there is no roadmap / clear vision communicated by Zynewave. new features pop up in no particular order ( at least me can’t see any plan behind order of feature implementations ). i’d trade unicode for better midi in a heartbeat…
i still believe in a poll for feature requests and addition of these requests into new versions of Podium!
but it seems to be highly unlikely to happen
