PodianerParticipantGood idea!
PodianerParticipantok Frits, I have just emailed you an example of how I meant my suggestion..
PodianerParticipantI didn’t mean the buttons.. 🙂
I meant the tracks themselves. Like the whole track is drawn like a button. I’ll try to make something in Photoshop to show you what I mean.. 🙂

I would be very interested in extending those lovely ‘glass’ faders that appear during automation playback in the mixer, to every track in the mixer by default.
Controlling what? You want those faders instead of the gain, pan, send dials? That would make the strips way too high I think.
Only to control the gain but not replace the gain dial that is already there. How would this make the strips too high? 😐
I really like that idea and I have thought about exactly the same thing a lot recently.
PodianerParticipantI don’t know how to express this in proper english, but I could imagine them pointing inwards. Just to give ’em the look as if they were higher then than the space between the tracks. All other buttons have this kind of look. The flat layout as it is now is ok and very clean, but a tight “lift” could make it look better imo.

That would be a great start! 🙂 But as I stated above, only some details could be added such as shadows in order to make the tracks appear less flat.

PodianerParticipantIt works.. 🙂 How could I have known that? 😳 Thanks for your fast reply.
This update is awesome.. I like the icons very much. Now Podium feels much more user friendly. This will help attracting some new customers..
EDIT: by the way, it is great to be able to maximize the main window on my second screen!!
PodianerParticipantdone
PodianerParticipantI can find the string 3 times.. “ArrangementProfileNo=0”
PodianerParticipantSorry to say that, but it is just not the case here. It works as before. The additional browser window (here it shows a mixer) syncs with the selected arrangement, which is great, but it always opens the first profile and not the one that was last selected. I tried it 10 times now.
PodianerParticipantThanks for that HUGE update.. I am very pleased with it!!
But:
The setup file now stores the arrangement and sound editor profiles that were last selected in each browser window. This makes it easier to use a dual browser setup where e.g. one browser shows a timeline profile and the other a mixer profile.
That seems not to work here. 🙁 Is there an option to activate this? The “sync browser” option is great though!!

PodianerParticipantPodium wizard (ctrl+w) is great for arrangement (and of course project) setup. You can easilly create master track and instrument tracks (they will be automatically created as a sub-tracks of a master track).
It also great for importing plugs and much more.
Yes, Max is right! The wizard can be a great help and time saver.
PodianerParticipantComing up in release 1.68.
😛 Excellent!! What about the recall of zoom status and inspector width as acousmod mentioned?
Definately the option for each browser window…
I generally use one window for the embed editor, which must be synced, and another one for a global view which is better to stay static.+1
