Simply the possibility to mute what is recorded by the mapping. As I think about it, I could mute the parent track right?

Muting the parent track stops recording. But lowering the gain volume of the parent track is a kind of switching monitoring off. I always hear an echo during recording. The signal is delayed because of the latency, and at the same time, I can hear the signal, my external soundcard produces.

It is on purpose, but I have often thought that it probably would be better to mute playback if it was being recorded over anyway.

May I ask why you decided to do so? I mean, recording several takes is quite difficult when you hear your former mistakes during recording.

    Just my 2 cents..

Could you give me more details?

Then this question was redundant.. 😳

Hm.. the sequence is programmed and not made with Jamstix.. All notes are exactly in time.. That sounds like a robot! 🙂

    Thanks for the explanation, Frits!

    So, any workaround?

Yes, they are short. 1/8 length as average. Long notes aren’t useful for drums, because in fast songs they would overlap easily.

Understood! I even don’t have the time at the moment. Perhaps some other german user (is there one?) will help me.

    ok, sorry! 😳

I am a constant visitor of your page! I am allways curious about what you bring us next! 😆

hehe.. I should work on the german translation. There is so much to translate.. 🙄 It’s not easy to translate your English, because you always choose your words so well, thus it is hard to find german words, that are THAT descriptive.

Frits, the Wiki doesn’t look good anymore.. The table of contents is on the top and the whole guide is at the bottom. Is that on purpose? Or do you change it to the last scheme, where the table is left and the contents right?

I like the new design! A bit bright IMO. The “news” column is a very good idea!

Concerning screens.. I posted one in the Wiki some time ago. You can use that. I love that theme, and I didn’t change it for a long time now. But perhaps this is one you’d call “extreme” 😉
