If I stick to my current rate of releasing, then V2 should arrive in about 8 months. Time-stretching should be implemented way before that. I doubt however that notation will be available in V2.
Oooh thats makes me all giddy! hehe 😳 😛
time stretching?
I think just being able to choose how many “clicks” before it starts would be sufficient, or possibly bars. It starts the metronome first when you hit play, the metronome plays for the specified amount of time or clicks and then recording and playback of the sequence starts on the 1st down beat after the specified time.
If you decide to start charging for updates from a specified point on…
Something about the way the key commands in Podium are set up has me using them more than any other sequencer I’ve used. The seem intuitive and well thought out, for example zooming vertical with “ctrl+shift” or horizontal with “ctrl+alt” that just makes sense and makes it easy to remember.
Right now my desktop background is the Podium key shortcut reference image.
don’t current registered users get free updates even if it changes? If I remember correctly? ❓
Thank you for the update 😀
I think the sync point and quantize functions would be very nice. You could then easily take a drum loop from your song and chop it up and give it different quantization.
For me this is great because I like the ability to switch up to triplets in the middle of the song. On top of that I wont be so lazy and will make more variations of parts.
Alright time to go mess with the new features
