Do you mean disable punch in/out, or erase all events inside the punch range?
Disable punch-in/out

I have strange bug with all 1.95 betas. It happens when i create new arrangement, which have 4 audio tracks and all things by default. So, i have 4 tracks. Then i delete last track(using delete bottom), then next track and so on.But when i delete last track podium crashes. Sorry for my english 😳
I have noticed something similar, but podium does not crash for me.. it simply will not play any audio.
the new beta is certainly a big improvement. Im liking the direction taken at this point 😀
Podianer, can you elaborate a little bit on the “power” of the new effect track method?
I have not understood the benefit yet other than simply using less on-screen space (which is nice)

I don’t understand : ot xill be nore more possible to hide / a track lane ?
As discussed on page 9 of this topic, I am considering removing the option from the track menu and let Podium automatically handle the hiding of effects tracks (only in compact mode). Since my aim with compact mode is simplicity, I was afraid that the option may cause confusion. If a user accidentally hides e.g. the master track, it could be hard to find that you need use the menu in the group panel to show the lane again. I can expect a lot of support questions on that issue. If you want to reduce the space occupied by the master track, isn’t it sufficient to minimize the master track lane?
Hiding of effect track lanes would make most sense considering how it’s displayed. Despite logically being a parent track, in compact mode it is dispayed inside the effected track.
That’s confusing enough as it is, but when you hide and un-hide it, it becomes a bit more confusing in a large project.
You can create effect tracks in compact…
But if you switch to expanded, you can not create them. But if you click on the child of the fx track, you can delete it.
Is this intentional?
It seems if you accidentally record, with a track record-enabled it destructively over-writes it. Is there a reason this cannot be non-destructive?
And the ability to select multiple regions and perform relative or absolute edits to all of them at once. Perhaps select 3 regions and cut 1 bar from all of them at the beginning, or select 3 regions and cut them all TO bar 3 at once.
Podium is major fun 🙂
Let frits do his stuff. If it’s got us this far, im sure it will keep going 🙂
Unless you need to zoom out to access a part of your project far down the line, say to add a new clip or something.
Some people also record entire albums in a single project, or use a single project for disc mastering purposes.
I think it’s useful, but an option for constraint would be cool
Very hard to initially grasp. More videos would be awesome…. and audio with them?
