When I choose a mono to mono or a mono to stereo plugin and touch nothing else, the meter is showing a single bar and the pan knob is grayed out.
Yes, but if after the ‘mono to stereo’ plug to put ‘fader after ef’ & ‘meter after ef’ – pan included … it to mono return …
I understand you want to:
Mono Track > Mono Send > Mono Rerurn + “Stereo Fx” + Pan
and you get – pan off …
I tried different variants, and I got everything I needed 🙄 …
what position you have a meter and feeder on return track ? maybe you just do not correctly displayed signal …

– Why does Podium see every mono to stereo plugin as mono in return section?
– Even worse: every mono and mono to stereo plugin appears as “real” mono and that doesn’t allow panning (which is really important for mono to mono plugins).
Hi Alex
can you give an example ? maybe you have the track off the pan ?
I think, case to the CPU or RAM load by adding a instrument in the Kontakt …
few samples in instrument – normal
many (more 1gb) – crash
it is a problem of Kontakt and not Podium,..
in Reaper or other DAW this also happens, but rarely …
need to run the podium through the debugger, and see what will talk disassembler 😉 …
… effects of NI – work fine …

Of course you can individually save clips from the “File” menu in Editor, but
if you save the clip automation (which has ‘spline’ points) as a MIDI file will be small errors 😥 …

Is it possible to copy an event from one project to another in Podium? Copy / paste doesn’t seem to work, even though “paste event” is available (not greyed out) when I open the destination project it just doesn’t seem to DO anything (either that or there are now a whole bunch of copies of my riff lurking someplace I didn’t want them…)
THanks!
You can save the track as a “Template” with clips & contents …
and use it in a new project …

Why can every channel be moved easily with the right click except for the master?
I don’t know, probably because he is a “Master” 🙂 …

I’ve been following the development of Podium from version 1.7 …

Many Thanks ! for the comments,
I am very pleased that my ideas and suggestions are needed not only to me 🙂 …
I hope the developer will pay attention to it ….

• Eq In Mixer
Currently you can enable the drawing of zPEQ on the mixer channel. At the zoom slider’s maximum, it will be ≈ 285px X 145px. I like the idea but I’m wondering what happens when you have numerous zPEQs as inserts?!
Alternatively, use “” Ctrl + Click “to open the zPEQ in a separate window …

• ‘Hide Track’ button
Assuming you mean a button to ‘Hide Track Header’, that is available as a slight variant. Drag the right edge of track headers to the left. They minimise all the way down to a few pixels. No doubt this would be easy to implement.
I know, but to restore the size of this method are uncomfortable. “One Click” is easier and faster 😉 …
Do you really think that in order to collect the Mac version of the program written in C++ , you need to move mountains ?
I think the developer just do not want to work on this because there is no good financial motivation … 😉 …
