yeah zpitch is cool and I use it a lot. Some samples it doesn’t really matter what speed they are played back at that though, so being able to do a simple pitch change as in how a sampler works would be nice.
Maybe he’s got the Russian mafia after him or something 😕
Yeah, I don’t know if you need to quadruple as such, the progression in your tune is very refreshing, but, yeah a bit of a lengthening might be good… It all depends whether you are going for something that is danceable or rather just a good listening experience in it’s own right? Your musicianship is brilliant and your sounds sound huge
Good skills, good mixdown too! Keep at it, want to hear the final thing 😀
think it might have been a corrupt device definition file… reimported the device and it’s fine… if i switch the original to a different device definition it seems to be fine too
ok it seems to be a combination of plugins… for instance: kontakt on it’s own fine… chorus ch-1 on it’s own or with another source is fine… mix konatakt with chorus ch-1 as an fx and then podium will crash on bounce… i have tested this using a new arrangement with no other vsts in it
ok, wierd! i will have a look and report my findings!
Happy new year folks! hope it brings you many tunes!
thanks man :)…. I sampled most the orchestral parts from war of the worlds, beats/bass/synths etc are all homemade… I will probably give it one more once over to see if I can get the mix down any better
now working on a 5/4 rework of holts – mars, bringer of war… it’s proving a little challenging! holst is from my home town Cheltenham so thought I better have a go!

awesome! aiming for an EP myself too at the mo! great to hear podium’s potential and people’s creativity…
i want to see simple sample pitch shifting rather urgently… timestretching etc bit more of a luxury, not sooo bothered about, can wait for it….
new work in progress sorta venetian snaresy

I too have noticed this! In fact I can’t use automatic bounce at all because I also get dropouts too which I think might be a bug between podium and kontakt, so I always have to record manually…
i LOVE this scales idea… at the moment I simply draw the scale out in midi then copy and paste it ad infinitum on another track so the notes are ghosted on it… having the keys highlighted would be a massive benefit and i imaiinge easy to implement!
Also what font are you using liquidproj3ct that looks sweeeeeet!
Yeah of course, but it’s not integrated into the DAW….. The point of it having it integrated into the DAW is you can see the *actual* samples when you are working and do all your stretching etc straight from the DAW instead of inside a VST which I think just adds an unneccessary layer of abstraction for some tasks especially simple ones where you just use the same sample a handful of times for the whole project….
