I like the white text on black background, with the heavier font 😀
The white and black logo images are actually identical.
I made black and white versions so that partners can use the logos no matter if they use a dark or light page background color.
ZynewaveKeymasterAlso, when rendering this project it will go all the way to about 99.9%, then the program freezes. It will not render
This is probably related to your first observation that splonki behaves unexpectedly when stopped. You can try to do a realtime bounce instead of offline rendering.
can I get my nickname changed on the forum?
You can change it in your profile (link at top of forum page).

ZynewaveKeymasterIf the effect you insert is a mono effect, then the pan dial will have no effect, and thus Podium hides it.
ZynewaveKeymasterI believe it should be possible to use 3GB with Podium. 4GB or more is only possible with 64-bit applications.

Now with the beta3 running I’m getting strange behaviour when assigning audio inputs to tracks (sometimes after assigning).
Please send me a project file with the track setup that has the unwanted muted audio input.
Disregard my PM. I sent it to the info@ address
Ouch. It turns out that a fix I made in 1.99 regarding the multi-processing had the unfortunate side-effect that only one audio input can be active. I’ll get that fixed.
Thanks for bringing this to my attention.
ZynewaveKeymasterHolding combinations of shift, ctrl and alt will select the zoom and slide tools.

I’ll just give the templates prefixes to keep them organized. I could see that menu getting messy after I have 20 or so track templates and then 20 or more Effect Chain templates and all of them appearing together under “Insert Effect Chain”.
Instead of prefixing them, you could put them in separate subfolders.

My issue comes after saving a track as a template. I saved a track template as “Bass”. When I right-click new track and go to the “Track Templates” my newly saved “Bass” is coming up under both “New Track” and “Replace Effect Chain”.
Is this the desired result? I would think that only the items I saved as “Save Effect Chain As Template” would show up in under “Replace Effect Chain”.
That is as designed. If you use the “replace effect chain” menus then only the effect tracks will be extracted from the track template. Likewise you can use saved effect chain templates to create new tracks.

There is only 1 other item I really think is needed and would hope you do add it to v.2….
I would have another one 😳 : automatic scan of subfolders !
Yes, I know, this is a very old request, but I think that it would be nice to have it together with the new template structure and folder paths (and for all the other reasons too…).What do you mean with automatic scan? And what subfolders?

Should I still install 1.99 (+ 2.0 to test) or unless I can run the installer (get the right click option to appear that lets me run as an administrator)is it not advisable to try to install them ❓ 🙁
I am going to download v.2 now to see if the installer is different to 1.99 or at least lets me run the installer as an Administrator.
The 2.00 beta is just a zip with the Podium.exe. You should install 1.99 before running the 2.00 beta. I never had to use the “run as administrator” with the Podium installer on Vista.

I don’t plan to add more features for 2.00. When I said I welcomed suggestions for improvements this was in relation to the track templates. It’s more than a month since 1.99, and I would like to go back to a more frequent release schedule, so no more new features for 2.00.

Yes, bypassing a chain of effects inserted AFTER a bounce track, but with bounce mode disabled.
Unless I have misunderstood you, there is no shortcut for this currently. What method do you use to bypass the effect tracks? I would think it is easy to bypass a chain of effects by clicking the X button for each effect in the chain panel. Since you’re using expanded mode, you can probably do it quicker with the X buttons in the inspector group panel. If it sounds like I don’t understand what you want then please post/email a screenshot.
ZynewaveKeymasterI have previously debugged with a demo of Amplitube 2 and found a problem with the plugin. I tried to contact IK about this issue but got zero reply. If you search for Amplitube 2 on the forum you’ll find the topics where this was discussed. I haven’t tried Sampletank 2.5. Have you contacted IK support about these issues?

Ahh, that does indeed bring the menu option. However, I thought it did something else 😕
Would it be possible to have a ‘crop event to sequence’ that would bring the start and end inwards until the first/last note ? Kind of like a ‘trim’.
Michael.
There isn’t such a command currently. I’ll consider it for a future update.
