I suggest you copy your old default project and use that as a base. You will then need to manually modify your audio input/output mappings to your new interface. If you have new plugins or installed them in different locations you can use the start page device panel menus to search for missing plugins or scan & import new plugins. The remaining plugins in your list that has a red icon can then be deleted.
Oooh, nice find. I’ll fix that for the upcoming 1.79.
I doubt that I’ll add REX support. Partial ACID file support may be possible.
I’ve contacted both z-plane and iZotope about licensing details. The licensing costs are too much for me at the moment. Need to get a more steady sale going before I can justify the expenses. Until then I’ll try to roll my own. Quality may not be as good, but at least I can work out how to integrate time-stretching feature into Podium. Incorporating a licensed algo later on should then be easier to do.
Are these ideas a consideration?
Yes, but audio features are currently of higher priority for me.
If you have another MIDI input mapping in the project, you can copy this mapping, and then select the proper interface in the properties of the new mapping.
You can also create a new project, open the list panel/window and copy the controller MIDI input mapping to the clipboard (ctrl+c), open your old project, and paste the input mapping into the project in the list window.
The next 1.79 release will have a fix for this. Now the loop range should update properly within the current loop cycle if the play cursor is at least one second away from reaching the loop end point.
No direct key shortcuts for that. Although if you want to use the keyboard and not drag with the mouse, you could select the track, cut the track (ctrl+x), move focus to the track below where you want to insert it, and paste the track (ctrl+v).
I go to the public library 2-3 times every month and bring home a stack of 20-30 CD’s. That’s the way I learn about new music. I don’t listen to the radio and I don’t watch the hitlists on MTV. It means that it can be years after an album is released before I “discover” it. Some of the albums I’ve enjoyed recently:
Brian Eno – Another Day on Earth
Crash Test Dummies – Songs of the Unforgiven
Rufus Wainwright – Want One / Want Two
Rammstein – Reise, Reise
Laibach – WAT
Elbow – Cast of Thousands
Divine Comedy – Regeneration
I don’t think I’ll be working on plugins for the next couple of months. I haven’t decided what plugin I’ll start on after that.
