ZynewaveKeymasterWill it be possible to save FX chains in the zGrid?
Since it is a VST plugin, you can export the zGrid preset a a .fxp file and import into other projects.
ZynewaveKeymasterWhen I save a project as a template I don’t get any option where to put it. Why is that?
It saves you the trouble of having to select a folder each time time you want to access a template or a device definition. It could be customizable but I just haven’t found that necessary.
ZynewaveKeymasterI might not even be able to do a video for loop recording, because this feature behaves rather unpredictably here.. So I never use it..
One of the items on my todo-list is to fix a bug with loop-recording. I’ve noticed that sometimes it skips creating a new track for a new loop. Is that what you noticed too?
ZynewaveKeymasterThanks. I’ve now hidden the TOC on the page. The TOC is autogenerated by DokuWiki if there is three or more headlines on the page, but by adding ~~NOTOC~~ to the page the TOC is hidden. I normally do this with all wiki pages.
ZynewaveKeymasterPodianer:
As I said in my email reply to you, this is excellent stuff! Thanks for your contributions.
I agree that video tutorials are a much more efficient way of explaining workflow than text tutorials. It also is a good marketing resource, as potential new users probably will find it easier and more entertaining to watch videos. Studying a text/image tutorial requires a lot more commitment from the reader.
I noticed you have placed the videos on a separate website. Is this owned by you? Alternatively you can upload all the files to the zynewave wiki, if you are not sure you can keep the files at your current website.

ZynewaveKeymasterOpen the Windows dialog from the setup menu, locate the colors dialog and delete it.
ZynewaveKeymasterRelease 1.78 will feature this:
• When assigning a MIDI program change preset to a track with an external hardware device, Podium will send both the program change as well as any parent sysex library preset. This matches the method used with plugin bank and program selection.
But I’m afraid there are a lot of devices that are not able to use this setup, depending on the size of the bank bulk dump. It didn’t work with my Yamaha AN1x which has a bank size of 260K bytes. It’s simply too much data being transmitted at once, and the AN1x displayed a “MIDI buffer full” error.
ZynewaveKeymasterThere is no log, but the filename of the currently scanned plugin is displayed in the import dialog. It should be scanned alphabetically after filename. The file displayed when the crash occurs should be the sinner. If you find out which plugin is causing the crash, then please let me know.
ZynewaveKeymasterIf people try to import mp3 files it would most likely be to create some sort of song medley of their favorite mp3 songs. I’ve never heard of sample libraries that use compressed file formats. I may add support for import/export of compressed formats in the future.

ZynewaveKeymasterNo, it currently can’t be done in a single drag operation. I intend to try to add support for this in the group panel.

ZynewaveKeymasterThe line now reads:
– Support for AIF, FLAC, Monkey’s Audio and WavPack sound file formats.I added WavPack which is another lossless format I stumbled upon. I probably won’t support all formats though.
