ZynewaveKeymasterI’ll try to keep zGrid as simple as possible, which means plugin support will be limited to insert plugins and not global (multiple output) plugins. Automating plugin parameters is not something I have thought through yet. You’ll have to be patient with this. I have work planned for at least a couple of months before I will consider starting on zGrid.

That should be possible.
ZynewaveKeymasterSo you have set it up similar to a plugin bank with program presets: A sysex library preset and a set of child presets configured with MIDI program change?
I guess I could implement it so that the parent sysex object is sent to the device first, and then the program change. I’ll put it on the todo list.

When you say “click”, do you mean the metronome click?
Do you have punch-in/out enabled? If you are using punch-in, and press a key on your keyboard before the punch-in marker is reached, the note will not be recorded.
ZynewaveKeymasterEven though I have worked at TC Electronic, I have little experience in comparing quality of different reverbs. I think zReverb can sound “professional” and it sure is better than SOME freeware alternatives out there. I’ll let others judge how it compares to the better reverbs.
Convolution reverbs are known for their faithful reproduction of actual recorded rooms, but compared to the top algorithmic reverbs they lack modulation features which can bring “life” into a reverb. Basic convolution reverbs can sound a bit static. Many of the best convolution based reverbs are hybrids which offer some modulation options.

Hmm, no. I could add an option to only create subfolders for arrangements, but it will have to wait until later this year.

In case you have selected the “Use time stamps from driver” option for the MIDI input interface, try disabling this option.

ZynewaveKeymasterSuggestion: You can create two folder objects named something like “Done” and “Drafts”, and move your arrangements into these. That way you decide how many arrangement groupings you want, instead of having to use a fixed dual list layout created by Podium.

I’m guessing it must have been something with your MIDI/audio interface setup in Podium that caused the crash. If it starts crashing again, send your Podium.ini file to me in a mail, and I may be able to see what could cause the crash.
