Confirmed here too. Specifically, it’s when deleting a track with Guru in that causes a crash. Removing the Guru device mapping from the source selector within the track works as normal.

I have uploaded a video that demonstrates MIDI file audition and dragging MIDI files onto the note editor:
Frits, any chance you could make that collection of midi chords and patterns your using in the vid available? I’d find those useful 😀
Thanks,
Mart.I’ve uploaded the files to this page:
http://www.zynewave.com/wiki/doku.php?id=miscellaneous:indexI had to change the file names for the patterns, because the bullet character, that you see in the video, was not allowed in zip files.
Super 😀 thanks Frits.

1. In arrangement view I’ve selected one single clip. I barely can remeber where the others phantom clips are, so I could screw it up (and I did it several times). Please, highlight (no active selection highlight) all phantom copies when you select one.
Anyone have suggestions to how phantom events of a selected event should be highlighted?
Nice color setup, btw. 🙂
Though not directly related to the question, I’ve always liked the way the sequencer in Reason works in that it auto-assigns some random colour to signify different clips.
I find it really helps when it comes to arranging things quickly.

From the little I know about Wusikstation, I believe that it is loading all its samples into memory, and don’t use disk streaming. Correct me if I’m wrong.
Wusikstation has a disk streaming option which can be set to kick in when the loaded samples size goes above a user definable amount.
No doubt FL9 would make more demands on RAM and graphics card processing though, compared to FL4.
Mart.
Not as yet, but you can always start recording from the 2nd bar.

– SpaceBar should start/stop playback independtly where you’ve the focus.
– Allow user save the plugin database from menu
a big +1 for these two.
+1 for “Arrangements & Media”
I’m not keen on “Device Objects”, it’s meaning isn’t all that obvious. I prefer Conquistadors suggestion “Plugins and Mappings”

I’m astonished about how polished and smooth you’re making the interface and the workflow. Addding a new drums track using a template is a breeze.
+1 – drum sequencing in Podium is pleasant experience now 😀
thanks Frits

Do others think it is important that you have timing and velocity adjustments in a single dialog?
yes, please
