You should be able to move tracks up and down the hierarchy by click-dragging – I know I can 🙂
I don’t see why you’d want the limiter after the Master. The Master is the final mix point and everything should feed into it.
Is there not a ‘vst parameters’ heading? I don’t have Battery, but most plugins present you with a list of ‘vst parameters’ and ‘midi parameters’.
‘Pitchbend’ and ‘Modulation’ would be under the ‘midi’ heading.
Edit: Make sure you have the track-header with Battery on selected/highlighted.
Mart.
You need to move the track with the limiter on, down a level – the ‘master’ track should be at the top of the tree, so to speak.

I think I still have to write up the basic documentation myself, but a Wiki system could be useful for additional tutorials or whatever.
I agree with that. Though I’ve been using Podium for a while I still don’t trust myself to make definitive statements on Podiums’ features or method of operation 😉

I can get MrRay to work fine, however this beta and the official release of MrTramp just dont get off the starting blocks and cause the whole system to go slow..
Same here 🙁

On the page referenced, tobybear points out something about the number of programs – could this be what is making Podium hang?
I think Guido said something about setting the preset number to -1 to avoid a conflict with energyXT preset handling.
You can use MrTramp from within eXT in Podium though..

Thanks – but I can’t even see the cpu meter 😳
Better check that out hadn’t I !
I should qualify my previous post in that my Podium setup is a little different from the default. Your best bet is to load the ‘default setup’
Go to menu selection ‘setup’ and choose ‘load default setup’. If you do this then you’ll find the midi monitor and cpu meter at the bottom right of the screen.

Actually is there a midi activity light in Podium because I couldn’t see it ? If not it would be very useful – even better if it differentiated between message type !
There is a rectangular indicator at the top-right next to the cpu meter, split diagonally – upper-left shows incoming midi, lower-right shows outgoing.

Open the project wizard. In the plugin mappings panel, click the ‘import plugin definition’. Select the ‘rgc audio – sfz (global).pod’ file. This is a device definition file, that is set up with mappings for audio and 16 MIDI channels mappings, and also contains preset and MIDI parameter objects designed for the sfz. If you had a multitimbral plugin that weren’t in the device definition library, you should import it with the ‘import multitimbral plugin’ button.
In your arrangement you put the ‘sfz Output’ mapping on a track that routes the audio. You then put any of the ‘sfz (01)’ … ‘sfz (16)’ mappings on tracks to play on the individual MIDI channels. The MIDI mappings will not route the audio.
Duh! – I knew that all along of course 😳 I don’t know why I didn’t suggest it 😕

Go to the project wizard (ctrl+w), then in the ‘midi input mappings’ section select your midi interface in the list then hit the ‘create midi input channel mappings’ button and that will give you the 16 midi channels you need. Create a track for each of the channels you want to use and assign ‘sfz’ to each of those tracks – and away you go! – hopefully 🙂

The scan will load plugins and immediately unload them. Maybe DR008 doesn’t like to be discarded so quickly 🙂
So, in theory I should be able to have all my plugins loaded without all my ram being used up ❓
