In the meantime, can’t you do a real-time bounce of the master track,
this is a work around, but i can’t imagine sitting around for 40 minutes everyday real-time rendering test mixes. no problem with rendering a final like this, but i like to take my mixes around for a while and tweak them as i listen in different environments and this is going to be a PITA.
i’m actually getting very weird behavior all throught my songs when using maximus. not dropouts, but “smearing” and strange volume bursts. everything sounds fine when i render without maximus. and no, it’s not the limiter settings. song plays through fine within podium.
i’ll try rendering each track and then the master.
ouch… this is a bad problem. i can’t mixdown my tracks with imageline’s maximus. 😥
what to do now?
ik multimedia has released sampletank free. it’s a fully functional version of sampletank 2.5 with a 500 mb library of sounds taken from various sampletank products. it sounds excellent. 😀
i just want to say that i really appreciate the quick bug fixes. thanks!
thanks that’s what i figured.
i adjusted the value for new recordings to 16 bit. that will optimize my project sizes.
Bug Report –
2.38 does not save the midi device with a project.
2.38 closes instantly. thank you for looking into this and solving it.
