Hi guys!
First of all: Happy Christmas!!! 8) I hope you all enjoy some time of piece and musical recreation!
Here is a song I made as background music for a video. This is the first time I used Loops. Hence the sound quality of the “recording”. The drums are ezDrummer’s Vintage Kit. I like the sound quality of that kit a lot..
All done in Podium. And as a small feature request (I know it is the wrong forum for that) I’d like to see a possibility to change the volume of the audition feature in the list editor. Loops are often very loud in contrast to the actual arrangement it is going to be imported to.
Comments are appreciated. Enjoy!

Wow! Great update! Thanks!! 8)

1. With the ease of use provided by the new project start page hardly any new users would think of “switching it off” for *any* reason. So it would be a good idea at some point in future to have a simple export command possibly in the most logical place a user would attempt to export a drum kit preset…the preset panel.
Very good!! +1
Nice update! Thanks Frits!
I very appreciate the added delete command!! 😛

P.S. What is next on the plan? I hope somewhere in the near future you will find some time to work on the quantize functions.. 8)

Hi Ganym3d,
Welcome on board! You will love the recently introduced fades!!! 🙂 I promise!!
Have fun with Podium!
The people who bought the Beat won’t be able to fix the midi bug? 🙄
Thanks!! 😛
any news on this? This bug is annoying..

Today the new issue of BEAT arrived.. I quickly shot 2 photos. Sorry for the bad quality.. I subscribed to BEAT so that’s why I got it earlier. I think on 6th of Dec. the issue will be delivered for those non-subscribers…

The next two issues will have two more workshops. Let’s hope this website gets some serious traffic!! 🙂
Did the Podium CPU indicator flash red when the mistimed notes occurred?
No it didn’t.
I had this when Playing Halion. Some notes are delayed or eaten up, thus resulting in a awkward sound.. Same happens when playing The Grand..
I haven’t recorded midi for some time now, so I cannot say if this has started in this version… I noticed it today.

Hi Frits , there is a little problem since version 171 , in midi recording , some time , the note echoed(the sound) is not correct, some time delayed, while the event recorded on the track seems to be ok.This does not happen with version 170.I am using WinXP now.
I have a problem with midi recording, too. It is only when recording… The midi events are recorded correctly, but the monitored sound is awkward..

The registration form already uses that feature, but most bots have become so smart that they can decode the picture.
😳 My registration was in summer 2005… 🙂 It was different then, right? 🙄
These Bots are very annoying! I can’t imagine any reason why those people, who are responsible, think, that anybody appreciates their work..
Hi Frits,
I realise that there are numerous forum registrations almost on a daily basis. You always have to delete them manually. Why don’t you consider a different registration form, such as most other forums have nowadays. The ones where one has to enter certain numbers shown on a graphic. Perhaps this way you can get rid of all the “bot-registrations”.
