I don’t know if it will help you, but if you hold the shift key while dragging events you can lock either the x or y position of the events.
Great! I must have tried only the Alt and Ctrl keys and missed the little Shift one.
Looking forward for the “snap” feature update.

I’m not tracking video in Podium (yet). I have to trust my inner picture and then see how it matches in Avid or Pro tools. Then go back and do the adjustments. It’s not too complicated. It can actually be good sometimes to not see… (some proverb).
At the moment I’m using Podium to do the dialog track for my latest short, or to clean up that track. I can do the work so much faster in Podium than ProTools, but I’m having a little problem.
Used to Avid’s way of snap cursor to cut and snap cut to cursor by pressing CTRL I haven’t found that in Podium which makes moving cuts from one track to another a bit tricky. I can’t use the usual snap because then I’ll get out of sync in no time. Is there already a way of doing this, snapping to the inividual cuts/audio files or to the cursor or will there be?
I really would like to be able to do the whole audio part for movies in Podium. Can’t be beaten!
Thanks Frits! I’m also using Crunchessor and… now even more.
Nice! As always!
Though the suggestion for 3D-notes, mentioned above, would probably generate a killer headache with lots of notes going on…
Great! 😀
Thanks Fritz!
I’m not much for the new faders.
You have to look at two places. One for the “analog” placement on the scale and one for the “digital” value. The old one had value and placement in one. The less you have to hunt the screen the better in my opinion…
That’s probably why options in preferences is a good thing. 🙂
Sorry about that Fritz. The DrumCore Demo creates an install log though (creates reg key for Content path, Start-menu and Rewire).
I have tried Podium 2.02beta1 with both DrumCore v2.5.1 and MelodyneEssential v1.8.1. They also work great so far.

Hi Fritz!
I haven’t have time to test it yet, but DrumCore uses ReWire and there is a demo at; http://www.submersiblemusic.com/TemplateMain.aspx?contentId=65
Try it if you like…

Hi!
I’m in contact IK support and they say they’ll look into it and see what they can find. Just so you know.

Thanks for you replies!
I’m on a Q6600 XP SP2 system.
I had difficulties trying to pinpoint what caused these crashes and hang ups.
Ex. I was browsing some presets in Sampletank. Then I went for the tracks pan in Podium and Podium just hang up on me. So I really didn’t know where to start. It all seem so random.
So, Fritz, I’ll contact IK and see what’ll come out of this.

Hi!
Still no help on this?
Meanwhile I got myself a bunch of these…
…to share.
SampleTank seem to be a bit more stable with the plug-in multiprocessing turned off, but crashes/hangup still occure. As do peeks.
No change for Amplitube 2 that I can see. It’s still ill…

I think it will be possible to extend Podium into a capable film-scoring tool…
And so do I. Absolutly!
Scoring or general soundwork for film I think Podium will do really great…or more.
Äntligen!
I had to quote a swedish reporter who repeatedly shouted that at the announcement of the Nobel prize winner in litterature. He was banned from the event due to that. Hope I’m not. (Äntligen=finaly).
