Thanks Frits.
I’m going to see if I can return the Emu interface and get an Edirol one instead tomorrow.
If you have time, please try the EMU interface with release 1.89. I’m curious to know what error message is logged for the EMU.
ZynewaveKeymaster- Dragged files can be dropped as copies using the control key.
- Bug fixes.
ZynewaveKeymasterYou’re not the first to report problems with EMU MIDI drivers. I’ve added extra MIDI error logging in the 1.89 release, which is going up later today. When you try this, go to the report page and tell me the MIDI error shown in the report.

I have removed the 1.88 installer. As pointed out in this topic, the new code for MTC support causes bounce rendering to crash Podium. I’ll fix this and the file drop problem discussed here, and release a 1.89 bug fix release within a day or two.
The drag/drop fix is taking a bit longer than anticipated, because I’m adding an additional feature for drag/copying files (by holding ctrl key). Hopefully it is done tomorrow.
ZynewaveKeymasterAlternatively you can purchase with PayPal. If you have a PayPal account, send me an email stating your PayPal email address and the country you live in. I can then send you an invoice from my PayPal account.

ZynewaveKeymasterHi Henrik,
Yes, those videos are very old. There are more up-to-date videos made by Podianer in the wiki section:
http://www.zynewave.com/wiki/doku.php?id=tutorials:indexThe easiest way to set up master effects, is to enter the max number of effects you want in the “effects in master chain” field in the new arrangement dialog. This will give you a set of blank tracks in the master section where you afterwards can assign master effects.

ZynewaveKeymasterOuch :(. it’s the new code for MTC support in the 1.88 release that causes this. I do various tests before each release, but this time I have forgotten to test that bounce rendering still works.
I’m taking the 1.88 release offline, and I’ll release an update later today.
ZynewaveKeymaster…and even MIDI clock start/stop/continue, so I can use my Masterkeyboard
So far it is only start/stop that is recognized. I’m going to add support for e.g. ff/rewind and song position pointer in the coming releases.
ZynewaveKeymasterI downloaded the MicroDicer demo, and I know what the problem is now. I’ll fix it for the next release.
ZynewaveKeymasterIf you drag from ezDrummer or MicroDicer into the Windows file explorer, does the created file have the .mid extension? Can you then drag the file from the explorer onto a Podium track?
ZynewaveKeymaster- Dragging files onto tracks from external explorers and plugin editors.
- Minor improvements.
ZynewaveKeymasterIf I enter the midi data while it’s looping it seems ok but…it appears if I enter data too close to the time the play cursor starts looping (back to the beggining of a loop or loop start point) then Podium will play back the entire 4 bar loop in complete silence until it starts the loop again.
This is fixed in release 1.88.
ZynewaveKeymasterThere’s no demo version of Bandstand, so I can’t test this myself. Does the VSTi respond if you send program change messages from your MIDI keyboard?
