But will it be possible too with the floating editor ?
You can maximize it by right-clicking the caption bar and then select the maximize menu command. The caption bar will not disappear though, because otherwise you would not be able to close the window. Only the browser window has the custom minimize, maximize and close buttons when the window is shown in full-screen maximized mode.
A little bug : if a secondary monitor is defined to be at the LEFT of the main monitor, the menus of the windows which are in the secondary monitor are shown at the left edge of the first monitor.
Fixed.
The space key is used to select the caret object. If you press ctrl+up/down you move the caret without selecting the object. Pressing space will then select the object. Pressing ctrl+space will toggle selection. This is standard Windows behaviour for all listboxes. If you try it in a file explorer you’ll see the same behaviour.
Frits I need some help here please
I’ll take a look at them tomorrow.
And a request while you are working on the GUI : a maximise / restore buttons together with the close button of other windows, le the sound editor or a sencond browser would be VERY useful.
Thanks.
I have now implemented maximizing browser windows so they appear in full-screen mode like the main window. This is of course only useful if you are using a dual monitor setup.
In addition there could be a subtle texture just to make it look more plastic.
I’m not sure a ‘plastic’ look is what I’m aiming at with Podium. I think brushed metal, marble or glass has a better vibe to it 😉
The space key is overridden when the event listbox on the info page has focus. Just click focus away from the event listbox.
Sounds great 🙂
Currently zPEQ only supports 1 program, but if people find these presets useful we could consider extending the zPEQ bank to maybe 64 programs, and put these presets in as defaults? This would be the easiest way for new users to ‘stumble upon’ the presets. Otherwise we would need to create a device definition file with the library presets included, but I don’t think many users want to bother with definition files.

I don’t know how to express this in proper english, but I could imagine them pointing inwards. Just to give ’em the look as if they were higher then than the space between the tracks. All other buttons have this kind of look. The flat layout as it is now is ok and very clean, but a tight “lift” could make it look better imo.
So you are only talking about the BSMR E and X buttons? They are drawn with the same appearance in the track inspector and the track lane headers, so if I changed them in the mixer they also should be changed elsewhere.
Only to control the gain but not replace the gain dial that is already there. How would this make the strips too high?
Ok, so you want the sliders next to the meters. Hmm, it would require some days of work, so I’ll consider this at a later time.
only some details could be added such as shadows in order to make the tracks appear less flat
Where should the shadows be drawn? There already is a shadow in the recess between each track, and around the top headers.
I would be very interested in extending those lovely ‘glass’ faders that appear during automation playback in the mixer, to every track in the mixer by default.
Controlling what? You want those faders instead of the gain, pan, send dials? That would make the strips way too high I think.
Perhaps some small shadow or a kind of texture that makes it look more plastic.
I have no immediate plans on changing the appearance of the mixer. I’ve got plenty of ideas for added features, but the general appearance is ok by me. What specific elements do you think are dull?
