might be worth mentioning i’m using v1.0
VST automation was introduced in v1.01.
Take a look at the ‘Busses’ example project. There are five arrangements with stickie notes explaining the various use of send/return mappings.
You can’t change the color of the gridlines. They are based on the panel background color just with darker luminance. I’ll try to implement a luminance adjustment option in the editor profile.
Ok, it should be a simple thing to implement. I’ll probably make it an option in the plugin section of the device mapping properties dialog.

keep all tracks below the limiter on a higher group level…
Reading that again, it does sound kind of confusing 😉
When I say ‘higher group level’, I refer to the group level number that you see in the track properties dialog. Group level 1 is the topmost in the hierarchy, and this is typically only used for the master output. Increasing a tracks group level will indent the track header so that it appears to be a child to the master out. It may be easier to understand if you view the track list as a regular tree list.
You can change a tracks group level position by dragging the x position of the header or by using the Ctrl+Plus and Ctrl+Minus keys.
1st. how do i switch order of tracks? i can’t by click dragging them.
Maybe you are using the ‘select tool’. This is intended for selection but not moving stuff. Use the rearrange tool or the pencil tool.
yeah but that kinda defeats my purpose. i want the limiter to be on the master track. i mean the master track should feed audio into the limiter. can u not do this in podium?
Just switch the master and limiter tracks around. Adjust the the limiter group level so that it feeds into the master. If you want the limiter applied to everything that goes to the master, then keep all tracks below the limiter on a higher group level, so they are feeding into the limiter.
The best place to start is to read about the list window in the guide:
upon save it does not save changes i made to the basic kit in battery
You probably just need to put a library preset on the battery track. Many new users have expressed confusion about this, so I’m going to do something about it soon. It has been discussed here:

Hi thockin,
Thanks for your feedback.
I hate the start/stop buttons where they are – please let me move that window around. Also, pressing play while it is playing should pause.
You can shuffle the toolbars and the elements in them around. Take a look at the setup/sequence profiles page in the guide.
When you place a new note, it’s properties should be exactly the same as the last note you touched.
Sounds like a good idea.
Ctrl+click adds/removes notes from the currently selected set
Podium uses shift+click to toggle selection of elements in all the editors.
Nice work, Frits. Can I help?
Sure you can 🙂
The horizontal key lanes or the vertical bar or beat lines?
I’m downloading the new Battery 2.1 demo right now. Will check it out later. Are you using version 2.1?
1. how is timestretch in podium (let’s say on a scale of 1 to 5)
On a scale of 1 to 5: 0 😥 It’s on the todo list. Check out the ‘future development’ topic in the future forum to see what features are currently missing and planned for the future.
2. are there send/return channels
Yes. If you have used the quick setup in the Wizard you should have 2 pairs of bus send/return mappings. You can create any number of additional busses if you like.
3. can u not have more than one track routed to the master out
All the tracks in the hierarchy below the master track is sending to the master out.
I seem to recall that some SoundBlaster cards only support 48000 samplerate. Depending on what ASIO driver you are using it could be that it is required to run at 48000. Enter the properties for the demo arrangement and change the samplerate from 44100 to 48000.
