ZynewaveKeymasterCurrently dragging MIDI files onto tracks is only supported when done from the Podium file browser in the List window. I’ve been meaning to support file drag&drop from external programs, when the need was there. Which plugin in particular do you have in mind? (hopefully one that can be downloaded as a demo-version)

ZynewaveKeymasterThey expose all their vst parameters to the host, so it should be enough that the host supports remote controllers, right?
Right. That will be possible when I implement dedicated support for remote controllers.
ZynewaveKeymasterAnd what about parameter automation?
Well, I guess it can sort of be done, although a dedicated support for remote control will make it a lot easier. If a plugin supports MIDI controllers, and if the remote controller has been set up with a template for these parameters, then you can control your plugins if you create an input mapping for the BCR2000 and assign it to the track with the plugin. Controlling native VST parameters is not possible currently.
ZynewaveKeymasterYeah, I’ve also been wanting one of those for a while, although I would personally go for the one with faders and knobs 8)
There is currently no support for remote controlling the Podium mixer, but it is on the plan.
ZynewaveKeymasterDoes it olny work with the buttons on the lefthand side on the editor now?
Yes. The control key is now used to snap to the default value for the parameter controlling the curve.

ZynewaveKeymasterI’ve added AcousModules to the Device Definition forum, and uploaded three definition files for your Podium plugins.
When creating the definition files, I started out with a blank project, imported the plugin, set a sensible project name, added a stickie note with version info, created two insert mappings for either mono or stereo input and 5.1 output, and deleted the remaining mappings.
ZynewaveKeymasterConcerning the device mapping, how can I update one without having to delete the definition and reimport the plugin ?
You can update the preset objects, inside an arrangement editor using the track menu. If you redesign your plugin with changes to I/O or parameters, you will have to reimport the plugin.
And is there this file concerning the SpatChain FX L correct ?
I’ll take a look at it later tonight.
Perhaps the MIDI out of VST will it be ready ?
Can’t make any promises. After the next release (1.19) I will begin to look at it.
ZynewaveKeymasterIf you have some screenshots or setup files you want to share, I can host them on zynewave.com. Email your files to me, and I will upload them and email back with the locations.
