er… I’m sorry to insist, but it is my nearly three years old request :

I think that we must celebrate it 😉

Any chance ?
It is, always, REALLY a pain to do audio montage without this such basic feature…
And it will also prevent holes or overlapping of enveloppes.

Oh, very good news !

Does this will also solve the fact that often the real values are not sent when we change enveloppe points during playback ?

Reminder : the volume bug is always here. If the track has a volume automation envelope it is ignored when you unmute the track and the sound is played at 100 % level, so we need to stop and restart playback.
Also applicable for Pan and Sends.

Confirmed. Good catch acousmod, it is definitely a bug, I just tried to replicate it by having a drum loop feed into a another track with a level automation parameter on it and a curve sequence drawn on it, and just as you said, I muted and unmuted the track during playback and the curve automation sequence was ignored.

Draw a volume enveloppe or a plugin automation, mute the track during playing, unmute it : all the enveloppes are ignored…
You have to stop and restart playing.

It will just enable streaming MIDI output from a plugin to the MIDI input of the next plugin in the chain.

Seems to be the best and the simpler way…

Excellent thoughts !

Do you have yet any idea how to implement it ?
Making the plugins which have a MIDI output port available as MIDI devices ?
Or using the zGrid ?
