FWIW, I quite like the one in the projects list, rather than cluttering up the menus.. BUT if a menu version is done, could it be done as a submenu, such as
File
----
Open
Save
Recent-> ILovePodium.pod
---- WhatAGreatPlatform.pod
Exit GiveFritsTheNobelPrizeForInnovation.pod
that way the menus don’t get so cluttered, and the submenu needs only get populated on demand, rather than everytime the file menu is clicked.

gotta agree – I really like it as well!

have a look at Restoration. For a freeware undelete tool, it’s probably the best out there.
Sadly it doesn’t allow multiple restores at each go, so if there are a lot of files to retrieve then it’ll take a while!
See what it comes up with, hopefully they’ll be enough of a trace left for you to get the original .pod file back!

I had seen that, but don’t have the cash to spare, alas.
I do more in the way of trios or quartets as extra interest to a piece, tho’ had I an orchestra available, I would probably make use of it.
I do have the Squidfont and SJO orchestral soundfonts – both around 70-80Mb fonts, which are OK. They are considered to be the poor mans GPO. For free, they’re about the best you can get. Neither of them has everything right, but generally, where one lacks, the other comes through – two orchestras playing! Wasn’t it Voltaire who made quips about that?
Anyway, I hope you enjoy GPO! And I look forward to hearing the predule to Podium Opus I!

That was indeed the question I answered… Now what did you ask again?
😆

Yes – I’m at work, so this is from memory…
Hold down CTRL when selecting, this will hold your selexions, then drag (holding ctrl down when dropping to do linked clips)..
It’s the same as with notes/ audio

thx Frits!

from what I recall, with multithreaded applications, the OS does some intelligent farming out of the process load across dual processors. I could be wrong…
DSP
woohoo!

That sounds like a good solution to me.
Mart.
I agree. You could set up simple common wrappers, like compressor/EQ/Delay, or Chorus/Delay, and have them as part of a studio setup to add to tracks as needed. If you have sends premapped in your studio, these could be included in a wrapper making a superb semimodular addon.
I think you would have an excellent solution if you pursued this one Frits.

I would love to have a MIDI transpose that I can apply to whole tracks at a time.
It’s been the case that I’ve got a long way in a track, then realised I can’t actually reach some of the intended top notes (especially for harmonies).. Currently to bring down EVERY track involves going into each clip, select all and drag down. Not a problem but longwinded. It would be nice if when a track gets mapped to a MIDI channel, or VSTi, it could get a Transpose dial. At the mo, since MIDI events sent to host aren’t supported, I cannot insert a MIDI transpose plug to do the job, but a native dial would be far more efficient..
Sorry, I should have checked the futures list before posting (but didn’t! Is it already there?!)
Thanks for the current crop of updates Frits! 😀

fabulous!
Thanks Frits!
