hope that makes sense!
yep, makes perfect sense. Actually, I’ve been pondering for a while about a feature request to do with automation curves. I think it’d be a great addition if you could save any curves to a dedicated folder which could be opened from the browser. You could have a basic library of useful shapes which could be inserted/copied then perhaps have the ability to alter the amplitude and time-stretch. Maybe even have little preview images in the browser a bit like they have in Bitwig. Obviously, automation curves are often created in real time during recording which is a separate thing really, but for reusable, repetitive shapes it could be a great help.
Anyway, just putting it out there 🙂 Hope you’re reading this Frits!
Do you mean just the midi sequence? If so, in the sequence editor window go to “file” (upper left) and “export sequence to midi file” then re-use to your hearts content 🙂
If you have the arrangement window open, then use the backspace key to take you back to the project page. From there, click on the ‘content’ dropdown menu and select ‘new arrangement’
Are you referring to Podium free? I just tried and it works here. Maybe a corrupt download?
When trying to save a file in Podium, we’re getting the error:
“could not enumerate ‘Ogg Mux Filter”Has anyone got any idea as to what may be the cause / fix?
Podium only supports .wav and .aif file types so I don’t know what the ogg message is about. A little more detail might help.
I believe Podium is no more too? So there’ll be no support.
I don’t know where you got that from?
CSPL stands for cursor, segment, punch and loop. Depending on which one is selected you can set either the position of the cursor or start\end points for the other three. Having said that, the CSPL buttons aren’t there in the latest full version of Podium – I’m not sure if they were removed and the guide hasn’t been updated? However, you can right-click on the timeline for the same options in a pop-up (context) menu.
I just tried it and it’s working ok here.
Frits is the developer of Podium.
The lifetime license was made available some years ago to early purchasers after the switch to annual upgrades.
Have you tried the free version? It’s currently at version 3.2.1
There’s quite a bit of info on the web regarding the read only-documents folder thing.
This link has what claims to be a solution:
https://blog.switchfast.com/solved-windows-10-upgrade-changed-all-documents-to-read-only
I can’t vouch for it as it’s not an issue on my system, though the read-only check-box is ‘on’
Thanks for the screen shot. Just click on the little yellow square button at the top right, directly below where it says ‘Podium Free’. You should see something like this:
Double click on the arrangement, as highlighted in the image.
Do you have a screen shot you can share?
If you’re talking about regular audio/wave files you can drag and drop straight into an arrangement. The F6 key opens the browser on the left, then navigate to the location of the files in question.
Try bouncing your bass and drum tracks to audio. Right-click the track header to access the Bounce menu.
Have you assigned a midi input on the track header? There is a track input selector where you choose either an audio or midi input.
