This looks good, I would definitely would use this on Android when I get the Archos 43.
About the Windows 7 tablets, they do indeed exist and more are coming. The difference is the popularity. The Android tablets that are available and the ones that are coming are cheaper than any win7 tablet and Apple, well Apple’s marketing department has majority of the human race brainwashed.
I’m confused why you would need multitouch in a program like this though.
I thought Podium had a backup file that it auto saves periodically, until it crashed on me. And after all that time slicing my samples in SC and all the programming. I got so pissed I didn’t even get back in it ’til the next day.
I still can’t remember what program does this tho.
IF the instrument you’re using is multitimbral, you could set another track for a different output channel and assign the other midi controller. They’d both be controlling the same device.
Yea I think it would be better if input stayed up
Its not really too confusing if you know whats happening and when.
Is really more of an inconvenience/annoyance than anything.

i want to see simple sample pitch shifting rather urgently… timestretching etc bit more of a luxury, not sooo bothered about, can wait for it….
whats wrong with zPitch?
I think know what you’re talking about
and if I have it right, its a bit inconvenient to make a separate track for each multitimbral instance
What I’m talking about is to have one instance on a group parent and the child tracks can still control that instrument with midi. If I’m wrong and this is already possible PLEASE tell me how. lol
in the mean time I’ll look into what you said, and that theory thats still in my mind.
EDIT: Just looked at what you were talking about. Making it a global instance does work for what I’m talking about. But, this does make an inconvenience still, being that now I have to make separate defined instances if I want more than one.
lol, yea. At that time I didn’t get 2.38 yet, and I forgot about 2.39 so yea.
Its working now 😆
I wouldn’t say MOST support computer keyboard playing, but anyway — this does not look like its keyboard to midi, it seems more like midi translation (as in, a MIDI input is output as a different MIDI function) not entirely sure.
What you want is Virtual MIDI Piano Keyboard: http://vmpk.sourceforge.net/ open source.
Of course if you have 50-60 bucks a better route would be a midi keyboard

#-o Doh!
That’s a upper/lower case sensitivity bug in the 2.38 updated code for the Podium.ini file. I’ll try to release 2.39 with a quick fix later today.
❗ ❓ 2.39 already ❓ ❗
While I do mistaking hit ‘b’ when going for the space bar during recording.
I think having bounce to be ‘shift+b’ as opposed to ‘b’ will just add an unnecessary key. typically you’d have ‘shift+b’ because ‘b’ is already a function. But something that would be even more useful is the ability to assign custom key commands. Maybe not for everything but stuff like, split, beat slice, adjust timing, bounce, mute, solo, etc.
My main station is Dual Core
Still, no problems 😆
I dont see what problems ppl are having cpu wise
I got Podium BECAUSE it runs great on my netbook.
Trying to add it, it says “Could not open plugin ‘LiveMachine.dll’.”
I tried what KingTubby said. Editing the LiveMachine LE device and it works.
Just want to say. I know of no music program in the world that has different tempos for each track.
Plus, why would you need different tempos anyway? out of curiosity.
Could you imagine hearing the metronome, that would be crazy confusing. 😆
I dont really understand what you’re trying to do.
It sounds like you just want one single midi sequence with multiple outputs.
