To be honest, I also miss Frits presence here. It’s very nice see that cute avatar 🙂
Frits, come on, tell us a good joke! 😀
Hello, I think you screwed up the profiles. Don’t worry 😉 use Setup->Restore Default Editor Profiles
Frits, there is a bug merging audio sequences. The lenght of the last sample is cut down. Try to merge 4 drum samples, placed each one in a beat. In this picture I used an 4/4 signature and a snap value of 1/4
kind regards 😉
I also have problems the first time I played with Podium demo, fortunately I’m very persistent and I’ve now the best host (for my personal needs).
I also delete my wavs after finishing a project, except if I’m using hardware synths/fx. Fortunately you could solve it 🙂
Good look for your contest!! (if you get rich & famous, remember me! :P)
I’ve runned it in a P3
Answing your question with a picture 😀
edit: ops, it seems you edited your post ❓
Me neither, i don’t have this problem on winxp home sp3 32 bits 😕
Making the groove templates assignable to sequence events rather than tracks, makes it possible to assign different grooves along the timeline.
Could be possible have a track groove overwritted in real time with by secuences groove?
Indeed, templates are very powerful in Podium.

Considering your example with changing the swing/shuffle for a song: If the swing is specified separately for each track, how would you easily apply it to the entire song?
I’d do it turning on quantizate in the master track, I think
As I see it, the problem with Podium quantization is that you only can do it only for each clip, so if you write new clips or you want to change the quantization in a track (i.e changing shuffle) you must do it for each individual clip.
What would be perfect would be a global (for each track) and realtime exclusive quantization window that could be used in recording or playback, and you could render its effect as we do now with quantization for each clip.
You could add it in another right menu entry on the track header.
I seems a ‘no’ man 😆
Podium cannot colorize individual clips. I would wish phantom clips where hightlighted when selected.
No, you cannot do that. However you will get used fast, I can assure you 😉
To hide automation clips just ctrl+click in their collapse button (in the track header).
You cannot hide individually tracks without using tagging, however you could minimize them.
Best regards!
