Sorry guys! So far, this is also used (Google Translate). I start a language course!
Off topic … ๐ฅ
Well I think I understand everything except the first point and the integrated preset list.
Very good!! ๐ฏ I love the way that everything started to be integred and “compact”.
Please allow me two request. It would be marvelous a floating mixer. We can have a floating piano roll, a floating inspector… etc. But I need a floating mixer because it’s getting bigger and useful and in my screen I have always the arrangement and embedded editor visible. I don’t like switch between profiles (And I don’t want manage two profiles each time I do changes with new Podium versions). You could use F8 or similar to show/hide.
Second request about zEQ: options to hide zEQ’s parameter list in inspector.

Hi all,
Does anyone like the idea of an “Automate VST Parameter” option direct from the editor(s)?
Might be tricky but seems useful to me rather than having to navigate to the parameter through a menu with a different layout.
I love the idea also. It could be useful for future midi controller linking even.

– In my opinion, the editors should start off minimized. I’d rather select the ones I want shown than scrolling through a gigantic list and having to close all of those I don’t need.
Totally agree!
@thcilnnahoj wrote:
– Speaking of scrolling… Since every parameter listbox in the rack of course has its own scrollbar, there’s little space left to put the cursor while scrolling the rack itself. Using the mouse-wheel directly over scrollbars is awfully slow – could this be changed or is it some Windows default? It would also be good for, e.g., the horizontal scrollbar in the mixer if you don’t want to use shift all the time.
I saw this also. I’d say that parameter list shouldn’t respond to mouse wheel (mouse wheel only for rack scroll).

I agree here also.
ยกAhi va!
Thanks you! It was pretty logical, however I thought that Podium would assign the same midi input I have in a instrument to all its effect, which would be more intuitive.
Thanks you, I’ll work with this! ๐
A suggestion. When there’re too much parameters in plugins this will be extremately useful: Custom favorites parameter for each track.
1. Adding parameters from mda DX10 checking them
2. Adding a parameter from TAL Flanger checking it
3. Final result. Uncheck from favorite list to remove.
And a minor problem, the minimum with of inspector is too short and it “eats” a part of List button:
Thanks you Frits ๐
I’m very grateful for this update. My eyes bleed when I compare 2.22 with new 2.23 ๐
Sometimes I’ve the same problem on 32bits, but it’s fault of my Edirol ASIO drivers. Maybe you could check if turning off ASIO drivers (Using DirectSound instead) you get the same behavior.
Hello Frits. I’m a little confused with new hierarchy, specially when you select a group track. It seems that it’s a “children track” instead a group track. Maybe you could do something to fix this as allow that selection frames take more space to the left.

My intention is perhaps clearer in beta12, where there is a new “Track” menu button in the edit toolbar. I think showing the track name as a greyed out title helps as verification that you are editing the correct track. Try out beta12 and let me know if it still is strange. If it makes sense, I would similarly add a title line to the edit menu, listing details about the current event selection.
I don’t like too much that thing, because I would never use “Track” menu and I don’t think that it would be a problem have a mistake: we have undo function and it’s difficult fail selecting the track. I would say that it clutters the menu.
I imagine you want release asap 2.23 so I’ll avoid make request ๐
Cheers!
Why do you think it is important; Is it only because you want to minimize the vertical space used by the current slider?
Well, I liked the idea of have a send in any place of the chain keeping the chain tidy. I saw this in the initial screenshot of reaper homepage. I thought that was important in that moment, although now I see that there is more important things to do ๐
Splitting the menu up into two, helps keeping the track menu cleaner. Let me know what you think of this.
I think this is a good idea, I hate infinite menus
edit: just found a piano roll bug, when you want I notify you let me know

Maybe dragging up and down moves the plugin in the hierarchy, left and right adjusts send levels?
+1. That would be it for me.
The problem with that option is that you would kill the ability of move/copy the fx to another mixer strip. So the best option, and less limiting, I see is click in anywhere to move/copy the slot and click on the border of crushed fader to change its value.
