Yesssssssss!!! the piano roll needs a revision! It’s my basic tool of work 😀
I’m sooo excited waiting your news!
Thanks you! i love the new keys!

I’m currently doing some redesign of the piano roll editor for the 2.09 release, so this bug should be fixed in that process.
😯 uuuuuuuu we will see what are you doing……. colorized and swichable ghost notes? maybe the ability of change multiple note lenght? we will see 🙄
Thanks you!!

Great changes!!
The changes to the mixer in the previous versions, now the track optimizations…
It seems our logically already neatly layed out podium gets the ultimate usability overhaul.
What’s next? I hope it will be the Piano Roll.
+1, I really like to see a improved piano roll:
-ghost notes with the colour of their channel
-ctrl/alt/shift + left click… whatever on a ghost note switch to edit that clip (look at this video http://video.aol.com/video-detail/samplitude–sequoia-midi-multi-object-editing/3277472020)
-multiple note resizing
-custom shadow rows (then you can easily work with unfamiliar scales)
-maximun gridlines resolution is the piano roll snap settings
Another features:
-Support for MIDI controllers
-Object freeze
-Inline clip edition (a la EnergyXT)
-Export to wav dialog
This would be my ideal Podium. And… yes, I only work with MIDI, I do techno music 🙂
I was suspecting that, it’s very useful thanks 😉
Extended the number of vertical zoom resolutions in the piano roll region.
Thanks you!!!! 😀 what does “The chosen zoom resolution is stored in the setup file.” mean ?
Honestly, thanks you! 🙂
Now I can leave my glasses in the car 😛
Bump! 8)
(is possible do this without tons of programming hours?)
You’re right Frits, I understand. I like the new behavior of mute and solo buttons 😉 well done!

Currently the text written on the pan slider/dial is dimmed, to indicate that it is inactive. I don’t think the pan control should be hidden, as you may want some indication of what the pan is set at, even when the track is bounced.
Cool, thxs. I think that at least the pan should be untweakable althought, visible but untweakable. It would seem more natural.
Do it 🙂
IMO is more usual tweak the gain meter that pan. I’d be happy if I can change the gain. You could hide or disable the pan for avoid confusion.

I tried automating the cutoff of Firebird but I haven’t any problem. Could you post a step to step to reproduce the problem?

Again, I like the new changes.
I did notice that when using the Punch markers to set the bounce range (offline mode …and real-time I think), the bounce process is non-destructive.
That is, you can bounce bars 4 to 8, change the preset of whatever vsti is loaded on that track and then bounce, say, bars 12-14 with the new sound and you end up with the old sound from the previous render and the new sound.
Extending this and again using the Punch Markers, it is possible to add a couple of ef-ex to the track, move the bounce to the end of the chain and render another section with effects with out impacting the previously bounced sections.
I’m not entirely sure but I think that might be brilliant 😯 Maybe this was possible previously but if so, it has transferred seamlessly.
Now all that remains (to rule them all) is a “Bounce audio and copy event to new track” option 😉
I’d really love could do multiple bounces in a same track, and that they could be moved and deleted individually. That’s would be really useful!

Beta3 is uploaded. Bug-fixes and:
• Solo and mute commands are now always applied to the bottom source track in the chain. A muted track will automatically mute all effect tracks in the chain.
Coooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooool
Thx you Frits!!! I’m pretty happy with this! 😀
OK Frits, when I import it manually I can do it without problems.
Anyway, this afternoon I’m going to install the Gladiator demo in my main PC, if it works then I’ll contact to Tone2 for support.
Thx you 🙂
