Another bug to report:
If you change the focus track with the keyboard (arrow keys or page up/down) while simultaneously adjusting any slider/dial in the rack, this slider will become stuck if the cursor lands someplace other than another slider! After this happens, it crashes when you try to load a different project.Link to GIF animation (500 KB)
Another way to provoke it is to simply switch over to the default editor or mixer profile while adjusting a slider on the tracks in the arrangement view. I haven’t been able to get a slider/fader stuck like this in the mixer yet.
Johan, you are an animal!
Fantastic update Frits!
Damn Fritz I just got it and came back to edit my thread!! I’m getting better at this.
Thanks

It’s impossible to completely hide the master or return tracks, I’m afraid.
But you can undock them so they’re not always in view. Open the editor profile properties for your dual-mixer profile, select whichever mixer region and open the properties dialog. On the right side set the master to “no docking.”
In the old days I thought I could…and maybe I could. But yes, I see the commands you are referring to.
Thanks again!
O.K. I watched the video….and it is not that I am incapable of following the steps but c’mon…this should be a mouse click or two!
O.K. so I did do it. How do I now remove the master from the top row?
Thank you!

Will I be able to reduce the size of the BSMR buttons?
No. The buttons are now the same size as most other buttons in the Podium UI. Can you give me your reason for why you would like them to be smaller?
Fritz, I just think they are a little over sized for the track menu. Particularly if I have the track minimized…too much button graphics. However, it is a personal quirk!
Will I be able to reduce the size of the BSMR buttons?

If it is an attempt at an insult, you should.
No, no – I just wasn’t sure if automation basics was really what you asked for (nothing wrong with that, of course). It wasn’t meant to be a stab!
No problem! Your visuals were helpful. Honestly, after 9 months I seem to have forgotten too many of the basics. After that time away Podium seems a bit more difficult than I remember….

Hi Sam,
Assuming you’ve added a parameter track for “Level”, I would turn on Snap in the parameter editor and add the points you need using “Line Draw Mode”.
This will create points at the snap values, with a straight line value change in between the points.
Cheers,
Malcolm.
Thanks Malcom. I have been away so long it seems I can’t remember even the easy things in Podium.

Hmm, you’ve been here as long as me, so I feel a little silly for telling you the basics. Excuse me if you know all this already. 😳
Since I asked you should not feel silly. If it is an attempt at an insult, you should.
Thanks for the visuals.
Thanks Frits. I do not see where I should find add scrollbar in the editor profile property list? I have looked at properties under all of the items in the profile list?
Makes sense…thanks.
Never mind, I got both of those answers. But man I am fumbling around……been too long.
ah… ha!!! thank you!
excellent, thank you…..
