Beta 6 is uploaded. New is the pan dial and gain fader at the bottom of audio enabled track headers. On my todo list is implementing mouse-over highlighting of all the controls in the lane headers (like it is done inside the chain panel).
Very nice. I like it!
There is a file called RaySpace_Stereo.dll which is the standard stereo version of Rayspace. Use this instead of the surround version. Download here if needed: http://www.quikquak.com/downloads.html
But you are right the surround version does not work for me too but I never used it so far. I don’t think that this is a Podium Problem. Maybe you should send an email to the developer as he is already fixing some stuff:

Any comments are appreciated, even if it’s just Yay or Nay. I’m curious whether people think this is a good development.
Looks okay for me on the first view but I need to test it here on my DAW to make any detailed reviews.

I can’t reproduce this. Can you provide more details? What do you mean with the “new state”?
Do you mean that the Group track is detached from the child tracks with a space between them ?
If yes, for me too the status of the track doesn’t change when I select or unselect “Use as Group track”. It needs to do something on the track, for example CtrlH.
Yes.

I meant the graphical representation of the tracks in the group panel. Or in other words: the group panel update()/invalidate() function is not triggered.

I also manged it to create an empty track without any mapping on the top of the track structure by using the “use as group track” bit on several tracks in a strip but don’t know how to reproduce it yet.
This happens after making a param track to a group track, in this example the filter_cutoff track.
Some quirks I have found:

• Added “use as group track” option to the track properties dialog. Group tracks will be available in the new group panel menus with commands for managing tracks in groups. Note that normal tracks will appear as group tracks, if you have used modular routing mode to set up more than one child track.

All other things added are working properly on my setup! Good work!
K-Metering in Podium would be a great addition! I have used it a lot in the past with the Visualizer Plugin from Nugen Audio and I think its a great way to mix.

There seems to be an oversight with the way the track inspector resizes.
DOH! This was an attempt at a graphics optimization made yesterday, that I obviously didn’t test thoroughly. I have uploaded a new build of 1.94. Please delete your old installer and download the new one. Important: Uninstall your old 1.94 installation BEFORE running the updated 1.94 installer.
Now it works!
Thanks for this BIG update!
Confirmed. There is something wrong with resizing the track area.
I like the new BSMR button design! Very nice!
1. zGrid
2. Timestretching
Thanks, I like the new cursor look a lot!

We already have a dropdown menu for choosing mappings within the mixer. Will this be also available in the right-click menu of the tracks in the arrangement window?
Yes. The recently implemented mixer mouse-over highlighting and popup menus will migrate to the track inspector and track headers later on.
Sounds great!
