ZynewaveKeymasterOpen the MIDI/Audio interfaces dialog, and make sure you have disabled the “use time stamps from driver” option for each of your selected MIDI inputs.

Definitely a step in the right direction. Thanks. Is this update posted?
I will probably release a new version this weekend. I have more ideas for the mixer, which I will continue to work on for the following releases.
ZynewaveKeymasterIn the sequence editor: Make a selection of notes, press + on the Numpad Keyboard transposes the selected notes one up, pressing – on the Numpad transposes one note down.
I try to reserve keys on the numpad for transport control. You can use Ctrl+Up/Down to transpose semitones, and Shift+Ctrl+Up/Down to transpose octaves. Using +/- (not on the numpad) will adjust attack velocity.
ZynewaveKeymasterYou can enable MIDI transpose in the track properties. This will give you a transpose dial in the track inspector. Not per sequence though.
ZynewaveKeymasterthe 12th track is a vox. it also has two tracks after it.
Are the two tracks child tracks of the 12th vox track?
Is the vox sound placed anywhere else in the arrangement as a phantom copy, i.e. is there a ‘+’ icon next to the sound name?
I followed your instructions, but all I get is silence when I bounce render.
Anyway, it’s not the recommended way to bounce. You can only do it once, and you destroy your original vox sound. Furthermore, the bounced audio will be stored with the bit-resolution of your vox sound, which probably is 16 or 24 bit. New sounds you create on dedicated bounce tracks use the bit-resolution of the engine (32 or 64 bit floating point) to preserve the full bit resolution of the engine output.
ZynewaveKeymasteri agree about collapsing the tracks but wanting to see a full mixer view!
I have now added an “Expand all groups” option to the mixer view menu.
ZynewaveKeymasterWow those “glass” faders look very stylish.
Only problem I have with them, is that they will shatter if you hit the mouse button too hard. 😉 jk
Can those mixer strips be totally hidden?
Not yet. There still is that 6 pixel wide strip all the way down. But I intend to remove that with the option to show more details in the header.
You said “the existing track lane minimize option” what is that?
The rightmost minimize button in the title of the track headers in the tracks region. Shortcut H.
The Hide Tracks in group option will totally hide all child tracks when used at track level in the arranger.
And it will do that now as well in the mixer.
Did a slider for the mixer make it into your recent changes?
Yes. Already done.
Still a consideration?
The panner band is still a consideration, but I may leave that out till a later release.
ZynewaveKeymasterminimizing and collapsing tracks in groups and so on is reflected in both, the track area and the mixer area. This is something that can be annoying when you want to see every track in the mixer, but not in the track area. How are the recent changes handled?
They are still linked. But I could add a “show collapsed tracks” option in the mixer view menu. This would then ignore the group collapse state of group tracks and always show all tracks. The individual track minimize mode (shortcut H) would still be in effect though.
And will there be an option to have the mixer view separated? I hope you will understand what I mean
Please explain.
ZynewaveKeymasterIs the option to show faders global or per track?
Global.
ZynewaveKeymasterI have created a preview topic about the mixer improvements I’m working on:
ZynewaveKeymasterThe only way I can imagine this could be done, is if you have the same vox sound on a child track of the bounce track. Let me know how you did it, if you can reproduce it.
ZynewaveKeymasterYou need to Ctrl+Click the B button or press the Ctrl+B key shortcut to perform the bounce render. A dialog will appear showing the bounce render progress. Pressing the B button will do nothing but toggle muting of either the bounce track or the tracks below the bounce track.
ZynewaveKeymasterHmm, that really shouldn’t be possible. If you have any sound events on a bounce enabled track, then those are muted as long as the B button is turned off. So bounce recording or rendering this should produce silence. Are you sure that actually did the bouncing? Pressing B will only toggle the bounce state of the track.
ZynewaveKeymasterMaybe I will implement this feature as an edit menu command. It would then use the editor snap setting as slice size. I’d like to reserve the use of alt/shift/ctrl shortcuts to more common editing tasks.
Also is there going to be a fadeout fade-in feature in the sound editor?
Probably.
ZynewaveKeymasterThen it’s probably because Reaper uses a different mono panning law. Try opening the Arrangement properties dialog and set the mono panning to “Balance control” (i.e. 0dB). If you have all your mono tracks panned in center, then this will raise the level of the mono tracks with 3dB.
