Hi,
I don’t think it would be fair to customers who already purchased at full price. So the price is the same for all.
Agreed. I think that is really the best way to handle it.

Though even more handy would be the zGrid 😀 😛
It is pretty hot property as far as features go and we don’t even have it yet! 😆 When it does arrive (take your time Frits) it will instantly IMO, be another major selling point for Podium. 8)
It remains at the very top of my list of FR’s 😉
Some deep changes in there, well done 🙂

Now you have the option of moving the mouse over the timeline to zoom without having to hold the zoom tool keys.
Great! That is really going to speed things up even more. ➡ Cheers!

It didn’t make it into the 1.82 release. I need more time to get it right.
Thats cool. As always take your time to get it just right. 🙂 I don’t think any of us want it to be rushed in anyway. 😉

Is there a way to get vertical faders in the mixer for all the channels? Like the ones for the automation parameters? I’m just trying to find my way around and I thought I had read somewhere about this.
Not a huge deal. I don’t NEED these. But I think when using the mixer, it would make it easier.

Hi koolkeys,
I thought it would be a matter of time before this request was made again. 🙂 I am also interested in this but in any case if you have not seen it already you may want to read this thread first… 😉

Hi all, new Podium user here (bought my license yesterday), and +1 for Stylus RMX drag’n’drop support, I was surprised to find it missing. Otherwise I’m learning the wonders of Podium, it looks great and quite different in concept from other DAW’s I’ve used. I like it 😀
Hi hvaring, 😉
Greetings Koolkeys. 😉

If I stick to my current rate of releasing, then V2 should arrive in about 8 months. Time-stretching should be implemented way before that. I doubt however that notation will be available in V2.
Well if not in V2 then hopefully a consideration at some point in future 🙂
While Notation was my first suggestion in my eariler post, it is not the most important IMO for V2. It can certainly wait.
I do already have options for notation so it is not essential for me but it would be very handy to have some basic level of it in Podium. 8)
Either way looking at the number of features that have made their way into Podium over the last 8 months makes me very confident about the next 8 months and the kind of possible new feature additions, so there is plenty to look forward to between now and V2 anyway. 🙂

also, an option to slice an audio event at given quantize values would be handy. Or creating a quantize pattern from the sliced material for quantizing other (Midi) sequences, etc etc etc…
I really like those ideas 8) The currrent transient sensitivity slider does provide a way to change how many slices you get but a quantize value option would be even better IMO.
I think your quantize pattern idea would work really well in Podium, very creative. 😉

What do you guys think?
It sounds like a good idea but I wonder if something similar can be done already by bounce enabling a group track and simply letting Podium draw a waveform representing child tracks that way, during playback.
Since Podium can provide a real time bounce it can also provide a real time preview of a waveform.
Maybe I misunderstood your idea 🙂 but it sounds similar. I think your idea would remove the need to initially bounce enable a group track though to get a wave form during playback.
