    Hi Frits,
    did you get the file?
also I set up a new projct with version 2.00 and was able to reproduce the crash, even in expanded mode.
previously in version 1.99, deleting parameter tracks in expanded mode was fine but in compact mode it simply created a second parameter track

    Hi Frits,
I can confirm a similar experience (in compact mode) where a parameter track would be created and trying to delete it would result in the creation of a new parameter track etc.
I found if i switched to expanded mode i could delete them no problem.

    Hi Frits,
    it may be relevant here,

when recording audio i want to loop, i spend lots of time going max zoom to start of event (usually at the loopcursorpoint). then disable snap, cut at the first zero crossing, delete the first segment, create a new blank audio section to splice and fill the empty space,
merge, zoom out, reactivate snap and and cut event to the desired start point.
this process is then repeated at the end of the clip
obviously its worth the effort to eliminate the clicks and pops, but am i missing some functionality that could make the process easier ?

    thanks mart.

    Hi Frits
I used ‘new device mapping’ to create the outputs, and I was trying to delete unwanted mappings (to simplify pop up menus in compact mode)

the good news, after a fresh un/install of 198 I can not reproduce the problem.

    Hi Frits,
I have an older Radeon graphics card and when clicking most dials on Nucleum my cpu meter spirals to 100%.

Graphics are the weakest part of my system and I have issues with u-he filterscape, shortcircuit 2, Albino 3 and to some extent ,Jamstix.

    Thanks for the tip Anzoid,

I’ve since adopted the export midi file method when using DK+,and tweaking note timings, velocities, to humanize the feel and build fills etc.

It’s a great plug and I’ll check out the pattern triggering when I’m back on my music machine.

    hi Frits,
    thanks for these additions!

I must say I’m pretty happy using compact mode now(increace/decreace group level seems to be the only missing possibility) and the benefits it will bring for new users are obvious.

I know not everyone appreciated the challenge of trying Podium for the first time and the recent work you have done has taken it towards being a foolproof host, I keep checking that “registered user” number each time I log on! as new users benefit us all.
    thanks mart

    hi Frits
I think this has a kind of yo-yo effect when moving between track-device-preset etc
it seems that re-clicking “track” now has a different result.
why dont they collapse in-situ instead of falling to the bottom ?
