    I was actually making a jab at Apple. But it might be fun, too, to have that little “unexpected” detail added to every new release of Podium. It’d make a great portfolio project (aka: free) for a graphic or digital design student.

    I like the [full-year].[revision] as it is logical. The only problem is that it does not match industry “standards” or “expectations” for versions but since Podium bucks industry standards anyway…

    We could also attach cute names to accompany each .[revision] such as fruits or types of canines and include a pertinent cartoon logo for each.

    Also, would someone mind informing me of the licensing change? Did I miss that somewhere while I was away? edit – found it! nevermind

    Frits, I’ve been away from Podium for a while and finally hopped back in with 2.07. I was very, very impressed and excited about the changes and the increased stability (not sure if this was something you did or something with my new interface drivers).

    I am excited to download 2.08 and work with the new “takes” feature.

    I was wondering if it were possible for you to produce a short “Change-log” video with each new release. While it’s great to read about these new features, I have a hard time knowing what some of them actually do or how to actually take advantage of them. Now, I’m not talking about some elaborately produced video but more like a simple screen-shot video with narration (like what can be done with Adobe Captivate).

    It’d be a great way for us to “meet” you, too!

    Are we talking about abandoning XP as well (since it’s an NT platform)?

    That’s the only thing that really worries me.

    Pigni, one huge advantage to moving up to the NT platforms is the NTFS file system which eliminates the 2GB filesize limit imposed by Fat32.

    Hi Frits, yes, that’s my problem. In fact, I just realized that I hadn’t imported a single plug-in!

    That’s my problem… I think it’s fixed. Silly me! 😳

    You must have missed this part of Frits’ explanation:

    there should be a sound event on the master track timeline. Drag the size of the master sound event to cover the total length of your arrangement.

    Do this before you do your bounce.
