jpleongParticipantAt first glance, I like the concept but I guess I’ll be the first detractor.
It doesn’t look “Zynewaveish” enough! There’s a charm to gain/pan knobs you designed for Podium and I would much prefer those to the “brushed aluminum” look you have here.
And is there a way you can make the hierarchic theme carry over to this synth to give it more Zynewave vibe?
JP
jpleongParticipantA huge strength of Podium is that Frits communicates directly with end-users. His version of “customer support” is by-and-large far superior than any other software I’ve used. Ever.
We’ve made bug reports or feature suggestions and they’ve been implemented the next week.
And, I believe the engine is a great strength and not merely a difference. It allows me to more quickly and efficiently accomplish certain tasks and achieve certain sounds than if I were using another host.

jpleongParticipantGreat article link, thanks for sharing!

jpleongParticipantCan you provide a snapshot of what the button looks like when clicked?
JP
jpleongParticipant– Play from stop position (current) or Play from last start position
Isn’t this already possible? View -> Link Edit Cursor To Play Cursor

PS- Whoops! This is an oooooold post. Sorry.
jpleongParticipantAcousmod, tip of the day would be default “off” 🙂
JP
jpleongParticipantOne of the things I really appreciate about Frits’ software design is that I can do multiple takes/versions/tweaks, minimize them, and then file them away as part of the “Archived for Reference” track group. Sure, it eats up my hard drive space! but it means I can keep all my options open.

jpleongParticipantThat’s a very interesting concept.
When I need to A/B very different changes like that, I just duplicate the group so it’s like:
Master

jpleongParticipantYay! Thanks Frits!
