When I remember more I’ll post those here, I think that Podium need badly fix those small things.

2. Always have the spacebar control transport, no matter what has the focus (be this the browser, or a plugin or …)
Thanks you!
edit: another one, allows turn on/off master record from a MIDI controller, as play and record.
edit2: another, I don’t know if this is easy or not, but allow drag’n’drop samples to plugins.
I can imagine this was a tough work. Thanks you!!
(I cannot try this release, I’m on holidays)

Sounds very nice! 😀 May i ask do you have any ideas what you going to do? I think adding button like “E” or “FX” on mixer to open new little window where you can add effects would be nice. Now, when you have lot’s of fx’s its kinda stupid to scroll up and down all the time.
Thanks you Frits. I can imagine this is a though work because it seems that Podium don’t change so much, thanks you! I have some GUI suggestion for 2.20 [mixer strip colors] 😛
Podium for me is the best host I tried. I do everything I can for support it, promoteeven. I don’t promote it because I use it, but I think that Podium can help to tons of midi musicians and it would be a great help for them.
However when I advice it, some guys complains about certain aspects when they try the demo, and when I’m agree with those aspect I do a feature request here.
Best regards 🙂
😳 😳 😳 😳
ok thanks you swindus. I didn’t know the “default” CC, except CC01. Problem solved 🙂

If I understand correctly, this would be specifically a plug-in to use on a track.
So from your first picture, wouldn’t you get the combined output of Nucleum, Sylenth1 and an audio input on this one track? Why would you want that?
Relax man, this was only a silly demo for help to catch the idea 🙂 However it can be used for some complex plugin architecture, as two plugins sounding at same time…. etc
In the same way with picture two, the actual Track 2 would still be playing normally whilst also feeding into the zRoute chain on another track – so you’d get the raw signal plus the side-chained one!?
Otherwise you’d have to completely redirect a track’s output/input whenever they’re loaded inside this plug-in. I think it’d start to become very confusing then, if the track was sitting there quietly while its output is actually inside a plug-in on some other track! 😕
You know… the sidechain compressors usually have two audio input and one audio output. The sidechain input usually is muted (in some compressors this could be optional), so you would only hear the carrier with its volume envelope modified 🙂
In any case, personally, I can’t see Podium turning into energy XT 3, and I’m glad. Not saying it couldn’t be good, though. 😉 … Actually, looking at my crystal ball… yep, it’s right there in Podium 6.42! Just you wait and see! 😛
Me neither! but is an useful plugin instead another delay/eq/flanger/synth… and due to the ability to load another mixers outputs it only could be made inside podium, not vst/dx/au.
Anyway this is only a suggestion, if Frits like it he will do it in Podium 6.42, if don’t he won’t do it. Simple! 😉
Cheers!
I’m sure this update was bored to program 😛
I had problems with Maxx Claster plugins, PoiZone and Toxic Biohazard. I had them uninstalled some time ago because I didn’t use them, so I don’t know if this could happen in other Podium versions. And I read that some people had problems with their plugins. I only tried with Podium 2.18 and 2.19b1.
The problem is with my PCR300 modulation wheel. It sends CC10 to PoiZone or Toxic Biohazard, and their modulation wheel works nice. But in the moment I tweak the mod wheel, the panning of the synth changes!! If CC10 = 1 then I only hear by left channel (or right? I cannot remember) and if CC10=127 then I only hear by right channel (or left?). However the pan fader of the mixer is always centered.
This happens with demo versions also, since for have full version you only need use a *.reg that you get when buy them.
I tried loading these plugins in Orion with those plugins also, but I haven’t this problem.
I don’t know if this is a problem of the plugins or Podium.
Thanks you 🙂
It sounds awesome, thanks again man. However I’m a little lazy for read another manual, at least in this summer, and I’m only jumping between presets.
I think that we could do the same with a modular enviroment (as EnergyXT) and with simple delays and filters… now I’m thinking into a new feature request for a new Z plugin hehe
The problem is that Live uses a native compressor for sidechain. Native plugins are ready for do easy their stuff. Think in Podium internals plugins, they can have some functions that VST cannot.
However I think there is an easier way to do sidechain in Podium, i’ll post it soon as a suggestion.

If i support him, it is fair enough to ask ONE wanted feature, isn’t? Anyway, you win, I’ll go back on my live. 😥
moikkelis, you haven’t to get angry/depressed. Just when you see that Frits is working in mixer/routing just ask for it and be more specific about how you would like it. It’s really easy and simple, in this way we respect his plans for Podium with some feedback. He wins, we win 😉
