I use it with my Toneport UX2. Very nice plugin when maxed out with all the amp packs. You can use several instances without hitting the cpu too much, compared to guitar rig or amplitube..
I use it often. With all the pre amp models it is nice on vocals, too.

The next Synthmaker project I’m considering is a drummachine based on sample playback.
Maybe I should rephrase that. I don’t intend to make a drummachine emulation with builtin sequencer. I imagine it to be a simplistic drumkit sampleplayer, that can replace the need for the Drumatic plugin in the current example project.
It would be perfect if this sampler could use the sfz format. Since it is open source, you might consider implementing it..
I was thinking more a dedicated drum sampler, which can be achieved relatively easily with the default components available in Synthmaker. A full-blown sampler (with support for sfz) is a far bigger project.
Ah, ok.. I didn’t know that..
Are you considering selling Nucleum as standalone too? Perhaps this would shed some light on Zynewave too.

Looks very sweet!
I would like to see a random button that randomly creates a sound..
Then welcome!! 🙂
If you encounter any problems, feel free to ask.
By the way, my tutorials need an update.. 😕
But this would mean creating new ones, since there has been so much change in the ui..

The compact pan/gain sliders control the first track from bottom up in the chain that has enabled gain or pan. By default track lanes have enabled the gain/pan controls, so that makes the sliders pre fx. You can disable the gain/pan on the lane track, and enable gain/pan on an fx track further up the chain to make the sliders post fx. A quick glance at the inspector group panel can tell you where in the signal chain the gain/pan controls are inserted.
Ah thanks Frits! I was not aware of that.. Perhaps a quick note (via popup help) could help others as well..

I like the new logo.
This is a nice update for the UI. Very clean and well organized.
+1!
Nice update! Thanks Frits!
I recently upgraded to Vista Home Premium. Podium runs smoothly so far.
I wanted to resurrect this thread because I feel it is time to give MIDI users a feature that is very important when working with midi drum tracks. Perhaps you find some spare time (ok, I know you won’t 😉 ) to implement a simple groove randomization. Best would be to have the possibility to dial in a certain percentage of quantize snap..

Looks much more consistent than before. Nice changes Frits!
Even as a long time Podium user, some of your updates often make me think I am working with a complete new application 😛 which is very good btw! So, keep up implementing your excellent design ideas.. 🙂

It would be very cool If we could get track templates in compact view 😛
This feature is a huge timesaver!
And perhaps a button inside the arrangement window to switch between compact and expanded mode. It could be optional by only adding it to the profiles. One could add it to the ui if there is a need.
Edit: And MP3 export (with lame e.g.) would help a lot.. (simply standard in daw-software nowadays). And of course auto save.. 🙂 Having all these things would be real great.. 8)
Select the midi-part you want to display and press F6.
Setze einfach die Velocity der 1. Note auf 100. Alle weiteren Noten erhalten dann diesen Wert.
