The Shift key is used for locking dragged events in the x/y drag direction. I find this shortcut very useful.
And so do I.
I clearly see why “Offset Sync Snap Spot Point” wouldn’t work ๐
I vote for “Snap Point” so it doesn’t get mixed up with syncing external hardware or whatever one might try to confuse “Sync Point” with…

I prefer solution 2.
Another possibility, similar to the one pavouk100 describes, is Pro Tools ‘sync point’.

A couple of hours ago Podium crashed when scanning Variety of Sound’s Density mkII v2.02 plugin. I recall having problems with these plugins before.
…50$ is very cheap considering the amount of work I’ve put into this program.
Jepp! ๐
Well, if the editor that opens dosen’t have a piano roll then it’s probably the audio editor. You get that when dbl-clicking, which creates an audio event, on an empty track.
You need to apply a VST-plugin it to the track, dbl-click on the track (lane) and you should create a midi event. Dbl-click on the midi event and there’s your piano roll editor.
Dbl-click a midi-event and it will open the editor.
I can only confirm that Pro Tools start with an empty track list. You even have to add a Master track.
It’s easy to do a setup of different tracks in PT. You just dial in how many, what type and then there’s a “+” button to add another amount of another type of tracks and another, etc.
2. Earlier the Master track bounced as โarrangement nameโ+Bounce.wav and all the other as Bounce Master.wav. Sure I can rename them again, but I rather not. Working on a short (film) I might have 15-20 different(ly named) arrangement to be bounced and then moved to ProTools and to have 15-20 wave files named Bounce Master isnโt very convenient. ๐
3. Iโll try out your suggestion since Iโm not that often find myself opening the Input to tinker other than adding or removing a USB MIDI keyboard.

Thanks UncleAge!
Too bad I got to save for my RED Scarlet… ๐
Too cool, indeed…

Also, if you were to have a mad chain of 30+ effects, at some point the group panel will start to extend beyond the screen. The scenario is unlikely, I’d say, but maybe a little “show/hide effects” button or a scrollbar would be in order in the GP.
I wonder what would, if anything, come out in the end of such a chain… ๐
Absolut! The footage of the lizard is stunning and I don’t think that, for example, Canon’s D5 and D7 is in the same league. I’m going for the fixed Scarlet…:)
Oh, and my post above, regarding the ‘update’, is meant as a joke and nothing else. Just forgot the ๐

That’s such a yesteryear attitude. Come on already, it’s 2009! Time to update…
